no hatred at all, it`s just having retired in 2003 it`s difficult to know how high you`d place him. Beating Tua, Rahman, Tyson and Vitali on cuts:think I can see why people would have him higher, but top5?? Dunno, even with my biased opinion I think that`s a push.
yeah I can see that. The last few spots on the list were interesting. I`ve seen every Hatton fight through out his career, where as with Wlad I haven`t. Hattons win over Tszyu made my mind up though. Epic performance.
For this decade. Remember, Lewis's best work was in the 90's. Overall it's a no brainer whose better, but this is for this decade alone. Keith
Overall a terrible list as far as I'm concerned. It's based more on personal like rather than actual accomplishments.
Honestly, I think you could switch anyone from 6-11 and put them n any order and have a decent go at it. I think the top 5 are ironclad, the order may be a spot or two different, but There's not much room for debate that Mayweather, Pacquiao, Barrera, Jones and Mosely were the 5 best fighters of the decade. how do tou explain raul marquez? wher is vernon forest, lights out toney, felix trinadad, fernando monitel, jose louis castillo,an even fernando vargas, antonio tarver all more worthy than jt,pw,rm,odh
It's rafeal, not raul, my bad. Tarver had a very short reign at Lt heavy champion, losing the title almsot as soon as he got it, and lost to Hopkins, while Taylor beat Hopkins twice and had a two year reign at Middle. Vargas lost to DLH and Trinidad, who are in my list. Toney did not fight enough or garner enough big wins. Forrest was close, real close, and I wouldn't argue with anyone who had him between 16-20, nor would I argue with Castillo. Montiel did not do enough, to make the top 20. I don't think anyone at any point had him inthe top ten P4P in any given year, which makes it impossible in my book to be in the top 20 for the decade. Keith
