How can JC be over-rated when he held every single belt he could hold in his chosen division at 168 without ever losing Then went up against an ATG, a guy who also held all the belts in his weight at 160 and had beaten the perceived "man" at 175 to take the Ring belt and won. **** you guys sicken me and give America a xenophobic name.
I've seen most of their notable fights. They were terrific fighters. However, their achievements (as good as they were) aren't worthy of the ratings they often get. I'm not gonna rank a fighter higher than he deserves because of what "might've been". Accomplishments are more important than mythical matchups.
:huh I wouldn't say he is the GOAT but it would be hard to overrate him, he has a incredible resume and has big wins that really shocked the boxing world. Being out of the top 10 is a stretch I think, top 5 is definetly arguable.
In my opinion, rating fighters on an all-time basis is an overrated practice in it's self, or at least over discussed, so I'll just say all of them are. Critics are overrated too.
HOW IS JMM OVERRATED!?!?!? If anything he is one of the most underrated boxers ever. He has been in the background for most of his career and people are just starting to see his skills for once. I really dont get why people mentioned him...
JMM defo deserves to be in the P4P talks.. (I just think he is a lil' too high at the moment I write this)
Sanchez was the man. Lopez twice, undefeated monster Gomez (won titles afterwards), Azumah Nelson became a legend himself but the shadow of Sanchez followed him throughout his career. Dont' penalize somone for dying young.
This thread is funny. Half of the people say "so and so" is overrated and then the other half say "hell no he isn't!"
