Will have a proper look at it later - had a quick jump through it - all I can tell you at this stage, is, I'm glad Riddick Bowe-Evander Holyfield I is on there - great great fight - and for one night only Riddick was as great as he could be
Great list...I am lucky to see the greatest SPORTING event at ringside, when I watched Ali vs, Frazier, March 8,1971...What a great spectacle, but certainly not the BEST fight I ever Attended...One fight I was at was omitted..It was the second Ray Robinson vs Randy Turpin bout,Sept. 12th ,1951,at the Polo Grounds...Robinson, then 31 years old was badly cut over his eye,in the middle rounds...Fearing a possible stoppage Robby launched a desperate final assault in the 10th round, hitting the strong but helpless Turpin, with every punch in the book...The referee finally stopped the bout, and Robinson's previous loss to Turpin was avenged...What a night, and what a fighter in Sugar Ray ...He was something to see...
Glaring omissions: Barrera vs Morales I Duran vs Leonard I Corrales vs Castillo I Not one Saad Fight on the list Norton/Holmes I was a great pick, though.
I certainly dont agree with the no.1 and when was it made? Hardly any modern fights at all apart from Bowe-Holyfield and Arguello-Pryor. Duran-Leonard I, Chacon-Limon IV, Barrera-Morales I, Benn-McClellan should be on there but theres a lot of good fights there as well. Not bad all in all.
