How can you have Denis Boytsov at 7 and Deontay Wilder at number 10? They haven't beaten anyone of note.

Also Tony Thompson needs to be out of the Top 10 after his defeat to Pulev.

I would move Derek Chisora into the bottom half of the Top 10 after his Malik Scott win.

    Nice list Manning,

    my thoughts:

Wilder has a lot of potential in my opinion, but no way can I rate him in top 5 based on opposition he has beaten so far. He is too unproven

Ruslan Chagaev too high, he is past his prime

Eddie Chambers over Tyson Fury? Have you seen Fury vs K Johnson? He showed handspeed, power, stamina, combination punching, skills. Fury is a talented big man, he is no dimitrenko. Fury is a legitimate world class heavyweight, I can't see more than 5 men in heavyweight division beating him.

Stiverne over Pulev seems wrong to me

Boystov at 15? He is 33-0 and is a very dangerous young puncher

    Like the price pick

    good list

Why? It was a competitive fight and Pulev is a top 5 heavyweight. No shame in losing to pulev.

Thompson definitely belongs in any Top 10 list whilst he is active :good

He schooled Pulev in the first 3 rounds and looked close to an upset in 7 or 8 when he put his pedal to the floor.

Unfortunately after that his tank was empty. But equally established amateur SHW fighters, like Price would Probaly get repeatedly stopped by this wily veteran IMO :good

Tough to make any kind of case for Chambers ... Dimtrenko is very poor.

These lists are misleading, due to A beats B, B beats C, but C beats A triangles that happen in boxing. But... if I had to rank them.

Just imo..... I don't think this list will be popular but right now this is honestly how I see the division.

    1. Wladimir Klitschko

    2. David Haye

    3. Vitali Klitschko

    4. Bryant Jennings (this ranking will probably be viewed as stupid, but I think Jennings is solid, and would pick him against most of the people below him on this list)

    5. Derek Chisora (if hes in shape, otherwise he drops to 14th)

    6. Alexander Povetkin

    7. Andy Ruiz Jr

    8. Kubrat Pulev

    9. Tony Thompson

    10. Bermane Stiverne

    11. Arreola

    12. Fury

    13. Deontay Wilder (How can I rate him above this? I have 0 idea on how his punch resistance, boxing IQ, or stamina is, which will come into play in almost every one of the fights with the guys above him on the list)

    14. Tomasz Adamek

    15. Odlanier Solis

    16. Denis Boystov

    17. Ruslan Chagaev

    18. Robert Helenius

    19. charr

    20. Szpilka (Has years to improve, hopefully will be higher on this list if asked again in a few years)

    21. Mariusz Wach

    22. Banks

    23. Seth

    Let the bullets fly

Let me make clear, that I don't think that this top 10, is how the actual top 10 should be ranked right now. Because someone like Jennings, who I have ranked high h2h, hasn't done enough to be ranked even close to this high when it comes to resume, so I don't have him even close to as high as he is on this list.

Other things are like - Stiverne, Arreola, and Fury - I think Arreola would beat Fury, but I think Fury could take Stiverne, and weve seen Stiverne beat Arreola. This happens a bit in these rankings so h2h rankings will always be flawed, imo.

Good list. I can't really go past this except I'd have Pulev at 3 ... Haye really hasn't been active enough against quality opposition. Head to head I think Pulev would beat him, probably Povetkin. I'd also exchange places between Boystov and Solis.

So many of these HWs have no signature wins against someone else in the top 20 or who was top 20 at the time they fought.
