Very good list. I see the top ten pretty close to how you see it. Some honorable mentions or guys that you could argue for the top twenty would be Michael Moorer and Michalczewski. Would have been nice to have seen Moorer in against tougher competition at light heavy.

Yeah kind of a glaring omission. He should be in there. I’ll edit

I put him in at 17 and bumped out Maxie Roenbloom

Great list. Although I would always have Spinks and Foster closer together, for better or for worse.

Reasons why? Spinks defeated much better competition at 175, was far more dominant and consistent, and accomplished much more at heavyweight

Charles never won a title at lhvy should he be below all those that did?How about Tunney he never won the world title at lhvy should he be placed lower? Greb never won the world title either.

Good list but I think Spinks has become over rated .. He fought for his life against Johnson. Yaqui Lopez, Mustafa Muhammad, Eddie Davis and Muhammad Qwai .. to rate him over Tunney, Greb, Foster, Conn and so many others is a bit of a leap for me .. I say this as a big Spinks fan ..
