When it comes to being sensational, knockout win after knockout win, Lucian Bute stands alone. (His closest competition , Kelly Pavlik, scored most of his stoppages below the Super Middleweight division.)

I've set the bait now let's see some haters come.

Bute vs Pavlik would have been a fights between 2 best Ko% boxers in the SMW division.

I'm not surprised Bute has the highest K.O. percentage. He's probably faced the lesser competition out of anyone on that list.

Question for those who have followed Bute's career: Does he have any KOs that come by way of his right hand after his first 10 or so fights?

Quit talking out of your ass. You really think Bute's competition has been worse than, say, Edwin Rodriguez? I don't think you'll find many people who say his level of competition has been higher than Froch, Kessler, Ward, Johnson or Pavlik (and possibly Andrade), but you're nuts if you think he hasn't fought better competition than the other guys on that list.

Not that this makes his schedule that much better, but he's also the only fighter on that list who has 5 wins against guys on that list. At this point, he's 7-0 against guys who were in Ring's top 10 at the time. The problem is that he's only 1-0 against guys who were in the top 5.

how are you even comparing the fighters? The level of opposition between Groves, Bute, Degale and Kessler, Froch and even Bika is huge?! in that case Andrea Di Luisa should be no.1 with a 91.67% KO rate??!!

The first thing that pop's in mind is that Alejandro Berrio(ex-IBF champ) was hurt by a right hook prior to being Ko on his feet.

I didn't included fighers like Marco Antonio Periban, Jesus Gonzales, Di Luisa or Jean Paul Mendy because they don't have 1 decent fight on their resume and in Mendys' case his been demolished in both.
