Alot of fighters have high KO%s when they start out and then it dwindles a bit when they step up to a higher level.
Consider that in all of Frochs world title fights (6) he has only scored 1 KO, which was over a formerly KOd fighter. Before that Froch had scored 19 KOs in 23 fights giving him a 82.60% in KOs. I think often Froch could score more KOs but seems a bit lazy sometimes.
Do you think Bute would have the same % if he had of fought Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham and Johnson one after the other with the upheaval of 4 of those fights being away including the last 3?

    That is just a question.

I think Froch at home would have KOd, Joppy and Berrio had they been some of his title fights.
Look at the level Kessler has fought in and his %. It seems more impressive though I have to say that overall Bute has been impressive also.

Yes it is...But a lot of thrilling fights,is fights where the two athletes fights their hearts out. recently Ortiz-Berto,pac-margarito,Khan-Maidana ect.ect.
I remember when Mike tyson was in his prime, several times i was waiting most of the night,(i live in denmark with a time difference about 6-7 hours) so when his fights started it was about 3-4 o´clock at night,And he knocked out his opponents in less than 3 rounds. It was incredible, but also a little sad, because i like FIGHTS..:yep So i don´t think a KO is a must,i will rather see 12 hard rounds with action, but some ko´s are also great to watch.
