He deserves to be on my list Rock. I wouldn't say he is inferior to a good swathe of the guys I have there. I wouldn't have him near my 100, but I don't think he is out of the equation of the top 200.

Excellent fighter to be sure who would imo give someone like Donald Curry all he could handle.

 What an elitist moron you are Trampie!!

You write as if you are too good for the General Forum and as if you don't rate it at all - and yet the General Forum absolutely savaged your shocking attempt at a list!

The General Forum joined as one to laugh at someone posting an ATG list with William Joppy at 143, with Ricky Hatton ranked some 40 places above Erik Morales and more than 40 above Azumah Nelson, with Kelly Pavlik and Chad Dawson above Harold Johnson and Jimmy Bivins, with Chris John and Sven Ottke above Winky Wright and Don Curry, with Joe Calzaghe 40 places above Holman Williams...

...need I go on? You have no right to make these elitist comments about the General Forum when you have produced a list of insufficient quality to earn respect there, you look utterly ridiculous doing so in here to anyone who saw your horrible first version of the list and the reaction it got.

To anyone who bothered to discuss and debate this list with Trampie on this forum, he just posted this on the same thread, his top 200, on the General:

Waste of time guys, all the work of creating a top 200, of arguing and discussing and defending his choices on 2 forums over a number of days, of changing his order after receiving some criticisms, all of it was just a cunning plan to pretend that he thought Joe Calzaghe was the 46th best fighter of all-time to annoy "Calzaghe-haters" like me.

    The mind boggles.

Quote from DINAMITA on the 'general boxing forum' -
''I must re-evaluate my membership of this site after witnessing something so very very pathetic and humiliating as this. To post a list, take criticism, and then pretend it was a hilarious "joke" (?) to entrap a poster you have hardly ever spoken to before just boggles the mind''.

In responce to the above quote by DINAMITA, i am sorry for humiliating you i only meant to 'show you up' for your responces to previous posts of mine.

DINAMITA i apologise, you do not have to re-evalute your membership,
i can tell from the wording of your last post that i upset you, and for that i apologise :thumbsup

I am going to take the Owain Glyndwr path, after the Welsh had soundly beaten the invading English army in one particular battle, the retreating English soldiers burned down Welsh places of worship and did some unspeakable things to women and children on their way home, the Welsh knights were so incenced that they wanted to go over the border and do the same thing back, but Owain said no, why are we free ?,why have still got our language and customs ? its because God favours us, if we lower ourselves to the level of our opponents then he may not favour us and we are outnumbered 100 to 1.
So although i do not think i have God on my side, or compare myself to Glyndwr, i will do the right thing, even if you take this post as a sign of weakness, i will not respond with a nasty post.

Having said that, now can we get back to talking boxing {without any personal attacks} why have you not got Lou Ambers, Bob Montgomery,
Beau Jack, Peerless Jim Driscoll or James J Jeffries in your top 100 ?
Why is 'The Mighty Atom' down so low ?, check him out ? he was not called 'The Ghost with a Hammer in his Hand' for nothing !, he was the definition of a p4p fighter as he nearly always fought boxers heavier than himself and often won by ko or stoppage.
If you give me some time i will compile a real top 200 list and if you got time perhaps you can compile a top 200 and we can compare.
There thats the olive branch held out :yep even if you Jocks sided with the old enemy and got the Home International Championships scrapped just as we were about to dominate too ?

I could reply with a similarly long-winded and snidey riposte, but instead I'll just say that you had William Joppy at 143rd in your top 200 boxers of all-time, and that the only thing I've ever heard even more lamentable than that was that when your list came under scrutiny from all sides, you pretended it was a "hoax" list to irritate me, a poster you have barely ever spoken to. See ya :hi: (that was me waving goodbye to any credibility you ever had on this website)

Howard Winstone you will be glad to know was in the original 200, i did pick 150 or so what i thought were genuine atg's mixed in with some ringers, i deliberately put Johnson, Calzaghe and Hatton high, i will do a real top 200 in time but even without messing about, i am no expert.
