    As i say DINAMITA i apologise if i hurt your feelings, you mentioned you had 4 private messages from friends on this site, so i understand that being belittled in front of them makes things worse.
    Please don't leave this site on my part ?

    And Ross was a great too, and he also was never stop. Not to mention he went 2-0 vs Canzi, and 2-1 vs McLarin. Ross was the better of the 3 by a clear margin imo.

    4 privatemails to notify me of your pitiful claims that the list you wrote and defended for days was a hilarious hoax on me, a poster you have barely even ever spoken to before this thread - belittle me?? :lol: They were a treat for me!! As I said, I have considered things, and I will not be leaving. What was initially so embarrassing for you that it depressed me has since become a source of great, great amusement for me and others! You have yourself a new fanclub! The Joppy Appreciation Society! Keep the jokes coming! :good

    I am glad you have decided to stay DINAMITA :thumbsup

    You will not believe this but i felt sad:-( that you would contemplate leaving this site as you obviously have many friends here, and spend a lot of time here {you must really enjoy it, and why not by and large its a good site}

    Sometimes you can be rude, aggressive and nasty if you do not agree with somebody, although i have not posted often on here i have posted on other Sports sites and always treat people with respect, when i felt you was 'out of order' in responce to my posts {as well as others}, i decided to 'show you up' as a biased ranting raving :nut, i now realise it was childish of me to get involved, i should have just ignored your posts ?,

    Figurately speaking i just intended to give you a bloody nose,
    when you said that you was humiliated and would have to re-evaluate your membership i felt i had not given you a bloody nose but smashed it.

    In summary - You only humiliated yourself because i posted your '**** his sister' quote.

    I realise that you can give it {****} but you are unable to take it {****}
    therefore i will not escalate arguements with you again, as i now know that it is very easy to hurt your feelings, us Welsh boys are real softies underneath :lol:

    Advice - if somebody holds an opposite view to you, and their post are well reasoned and not abusive do not tell them to '**** off' and hurl insults at them :nono

    :lol: You bumbling idiot, you were the one who was humiliated and embarrassed by your ludicrous claim that both of your entire sprawling top 200 list threads were nothing but a wacky prank played on me - a poster you had barely ever spoken to beforehand! I was not the only person who noticed and enjoyed that! And your inclusion of the great WILLIAM JOPPY has gone down in ESB history! :patsch The reason I momentarily felt like quitting this forum is that someone who would humiliate himself by disowning his own list that he worked so hard on is so infantile that I don't even want to be associated with such a person in any way, it's beyond shameful. But as I said, some other guy's spinelessness does not reflect on me, I'll simply avoid wasting time on the fool in future, and keep enjoying the lies and the laughs!! :good

    Oh, and I absolutely 1000% stand by my "**** his sister" quotation, why the **** would I give a flying toss what Joe Calzaghe's sister said about his performance v Bernard Hopkins?!?!?! I watched the fight, I listened to the analysts speak about it, I have read numerous boxing publications' reports and comments about it, I have discussed it many times on here and elsewhere with knowledgable boxing fans - **** Joe Calzaghe's sister opinion, I couldn't care less about what she has ever had to say about anything. Why would I? You're a strange little man alright.

    Strange - a matter of opinion, never been called strange by anybody before.
    Little - no i am definitely not little.

    Why swear and why be rude, some boxers allegedly visit this site, if Joe Calzaghe visited this site i dont think he would be happy with your comments about his sister.

    Judging by the amount of posts you have made since you joined ESB, this site is clearly very important to you, i would guess that you are not married {no girlfriend either} and no job, nothing wrong with any of that.
    You was rude to me {as well as others} so i decided to 'show you up', it worked well, you went nuts about my list, at first i thought job done i have made him look a fool, but then i started to worry, i did not want somebody to pack in something they enjoy, but even worse i thought no wife, no job etc - being belittled in front of his only friends {probarbly havent got many real ones due to being on here} if he packs in the only thing thats important to him, he could end up killing himself.
    I can't have that, i must hold out the olive branch.

    And that is 100% true, there are some odd people about, i thought his posts are sensible enough but if somebody disagrees with him he gets abusive and rude, thats not normal behaviour, he spents hours and hours on here most days so ESB is very important to him, i dont want to cause him to pack it in, what if he is some kind of sad loser he could even top himself, i have got to be nice to him.

    I think you are in your early 20s, so you would never have the above thought process.
    Infact judging by the venom in your posts i dont think you would ever give 'too hoots' about anybody else no matter what age you were.

    PS i did not work hard on my list, i did it in 1 evening

    I couldn't care less. I was not making any comments about his sister as a person, I was saying **** her opinion on the matter, and I stand by that. Joe Calzaghe's sister's opinion on the Hopkins fight means less than nothing to me and should mean less than nothing to anyone who isn't a member of the Calzaghe family or her immediate friend. What next, are you going to be making threads based on what Chris John's Auntie Maureen said last week, or what Sultan Ibragimov's nephew Barry wrote in his journal about his uncle's chances of winning a title this year?

    **** that! And **** it good! :lol:

    Yawn. The same old tired attempts at witty abuse that we've all read a hundred times on this site from frustrated posters, regurgitated and cheaply spat out to try and attain some moral high ground. Boring.

    :lol: Yes, it certainly did. You going to the effort of typing out 200 names, incorporating it into a thread, cutting and pasting it onto two forums, receiving some severe criticism for the dire standard of the list (WILLIAM JOPPY at #143, Ricky Hatton 44 places above Erik Morales, Pavlik/Dawson/Kessler all above guys like Azumah Nelson and Jimmy Bivins - :lol: aren't you even embarrassed when this litany of shame is detailed back to you???)...

    ...and then DISOWNING the list by pretending all that work was really a cunning plan to annoy me, a poster you had barely ever spoken to before you wrote your list and made these threads - that 'showed me up'??

    You're a bad joke. The saddest little anorak I've encountered on these here pages. I'm beginning to feel a bit guilty for stringing you out like this. Poor Joppy.

    'Too hoots' eh? Not one but too. Would you like to make another remark about my probable age and maturity at this point?

    Now this is the first thing you've said since you posted the lists that I actually do believe! :lol: It would explain rather a lot. Had you also got blind drunk on alcypops while watching your William Joppy career set dvd?? :good

    There i was right no wife, no girlfriend, no friends, no job - dont try and lie and say different now, you replied to my last post at length and did not deny any of those claims.
    Therefore i was right to desculate matters and i will now treat you with kid gloves from now on, perhaps one day you will mature and when a poster gives you some '****' back, perhaps you will be able to take it, until i see evidence of that i will have to treat you with kid gloves.

    PS Joe's sister was not giving her opinion of how her brother fought, she was just telling the interviewer that Joe had told her immediately after the fight that he was dissapointed with his performance.
    So why are you saying, that you don't care about Joe's sisters opinion, she never expressed one !

    I'm bored of this, I'm sure you are too. Well done for writing a full top 200, it's a daunting task for anyone. Sorry if I've been a bit of a knob on your threads of late, I get a bit carried away sometimes when I think someone is making jibes at me. See you around :good

    OK, at least you took William Joppy out after we told you, but in light of your top 400, this list destroys the credibility and integrity of your others. Some utterly abysmal choices here.

    This seems pointless to me. The purpose of All Time Greatness is to say that a fighter would be great in all if not every era. Making lists these long only add a lot of names that may be good fighters but surely would not qualify to be "great" in most/every eras and mostly not even in their own very era. Either a guy is an ATG or not based on what they accomplished and it's only limited to Armstrong, Louis, Hearns, etc. that are sure names so it gets blurry and very subjective after maybe the 50th name or so. "ATG" should not be a term thrown around like the neighborhood *****. Call me a purist/old-fashioned but I don't like smacking the label "HOF'er" and "ATG" on a fighter just because they are a top name of their time. I don't wanna hear any "If Barry..." either lol.
