Top 200 Boxers of All-Time - Personal List

Believe me im not totally ignoring who certain guys beat and the longevity of their careers.
For instance in a HTH matchup there arent to many guys id take over a Prime Michael Nunn,Donald Curry just to name a couple,but you will never find those guys in my top 100. But guys like Hearns,Jones,Lopez,Delahoya,Mayweather,Sanchez and many others are very high even higher than some of the other fighters many of you would choose but thats cause they did walk the walk and have exceptional talent. For instance Leonard is aroun 5 or 6 on my list but usually around 10 to 25 on most list.

 

But there are other guys who walked the walk even more and also had exceptional talent.

 

well we could go back and forth on this for a long time, and im sure we will I guess im just solid in my opinions on certain fighters. Like i said before im pretty knowledgeable on all the greats and pretty set in my opinions as ive seen them fight or know their history. Only ones where my opinions are not set in stone are the guys that are still fighting. Thats why its hard for me to put a Mayweather or Pacs rating down as their is still unfinished buisness to be done. Mosley and Hopkins are pretty much set although a big win for either of those guys would improve their ranking, a loss wouldnt hurt so bad as they are nearing the end anyways.

 

Mosley is between 90-100 for me.

I just noticed Sammy Angott didn't even make the list when he's a shoe-in for the top 100.

 

For all your knowledge of fighters resumes you must not be able to pick the quality out. As big a Mosley fan as I am there is no justification for ranking him in the top 50. His lightweight tenure is grossy overrated and he hasn't always looked amazing. However, there's enough in there, and enough talent for him to make my top 100.

Out of all the fighters there have been, you believe Mosley to be amongst the best 40 that have ever fought. Even if you rank skillset/H2H Mosley is not more deserving that countless others (in my opinion) and you have him no lower than 40 but Lopez top 30?!? As undeserving as both are, I'd certainly have Sugar Shane over Lopez.

 

I hate that logic. Fair enough, Asero, Manny beating Morales doesn't mean jack **** considering Raheem had gotten there first. Wise up.
