No i made a rough draft of the top 30 a few months ago but nothing set in stone. But ive just been doing a rough estimate of where i would put them. Believe me i havent forgot about none of the greats when i did my rough draft.
I should make one and even though I know some of you guys would try and talk crap about it, id defend it to the fullest. Ive been watching boxing a long time and none of you here are gonna brainwash me into thinking different. Im confident in my picks i dont need to follow the crowd.

That along with the stories you tell of being at the fights and being around certain fighters...is what makes you a seminal poster, in my judgment. :good

The list is not that bad imo, Id make quite a few changes but its not like he has Antonio Tarver in the top 20.

I am just interested in how you make your choices etc. I am still new to boxing and only know a few fighters well, so I cannot make any sort of list yet.

Was it SS that made his list with the point system etc.., interesting

I would give extra points to guys that fought the best all the time etc...

Explain-Mosley no lower than 40 please. As I say, even as a mix of resume and ability it's a ludicrous statement. It's not '40 favourite boxers'.

Well for one he was considered PFP best for a while, when there were alot of great fighters at the top(more so than Now) Also i think jumping from 135 to 147 to beat a prime Oscar was a great win. Something the Majority of past lightweight greats would not be able to do. Kind of like Duran beating Leonard but on a smaller scale.
Also has won titles in 3 weight divisions, jumping from lightweight to Junior middle and winning titles is no small accomplishment, considering he was the best lightweight at the time, beat the best Welter, and the best Junior Middle(although Controversial). So its not like he was a paper champ in any of those divisions. He also beat 11 former champs and a couple real solid contenders

Oscar Delahoya 2x (thought he lost the 2nd though)
Fernando Vargas 2x (on the downside but still very good)
    John john Molina
    Phillip Holiday
    Jesse James Leija
    John Brown
    Luis Collazo
    Ricardo Mayorga
Antonio Margarito ( impressive beat down of the recognized best welter)
    Mauricio Aceves

    Top contenders
Wilfredo Rivera ( who was robbed against sweet pea in the 1st fight)
Antonio Diaz in his prime was a pretty good fighter

On top of that the guy is super gifted more so than many of the past great fighters. He can Punch hes fast as lightning, good boxing skills, excellent chin. Also as you know i base alot on H2H matchup and i see him beating guys that id probably rate above him but, like i said before i also take resumes into account, and theres been a lot of great ones. So this is around where i see him properly placed.

OH YEAH MCCLOVIN IS YOUR NEW NICKNAME FOR WHENEVER YOU DOUBT MY BOXING EXPERTISE:lol: BLAME YOUR BUDDIES ADDIE AND GPATER FOR LETTING THAT ONE OUT:lol: WHERE YOU REALLY IN SUPER BAD:huh OR DO YOU JUST LOOK LIKE HIM:lol::good

:huh I love the man (as much as Merchant) but this is bull****.

And no, I just have glasses. I look nothing like him.

That resume is not worthy of a top 40 spot mate.
