If you include rehydration, you are probably right, the records says what it says.

I am right and it’d be silly to add him on a 200lbs list - Foreman, Ali and Frazier could ALL fight at Cruiser today if they wanted, making weight today has wrecked the very concept of weight classes.

If Lane, then Elmer Ray deserves a look. He also has wins over Charles and Walcott, as well as Savold and Obie Walker, and his win over Charles is a bit tighter.

What about Orlin Norris, a crusierweight champ who has wins over a couple of former heavyweight titlists, Tucker and Page I think off the top of my head?

    Max Baer fought under 200.

Yes, I agree, but most do not. It's a dead horse.

I will leave you to beat it.

Usyk is as clever as any man that I have seen close to that weight, and he is a mental monster.

After the first Joshua fight I posted "We were were gifted to see something incredible tonight gentlemen."

However he is still active, so we must not get ahead of ourselves.

Savold was 200 plus for many a fight. Obie not as good as the others. But yeah Elmer deserves a look. He unfortunately doesn’t have video to judge which is why I had a problem w a few people on the list or those that didn’t make it. Loughrans wins r just to good to leave him off, not sure the rest of Rays wins r as good as Laynes. Besides Walcott n Charles he also beat Satterfield, Turkey, Brion, Whitlock,Kahut and Hall. Layne would b at the bottom of my list had I placed him where I wanted.

Perhaps I am overcautious on this issue, but it is not too late for him to lose to some bum, or indeed for the key men that he has beaten to do the same.

    Just remembered Michael Moorer.

    Chris Byrd?

Also just remembered that Ali and Frazier both started under 200.

I think we all realize that we are excluding Jack Johnson, Sam Langford, Jim Corbett, Bob Fitzsimmons, Peter Jackson, Joe Chyonyski, John. L. Sullivan, etc. I am perfectly OK with that if you guys are as the modern era to me begins with Joe Louis. I would be fine excluding Dempsey and Tunney. In fact, I think I am going to include those guys with asterixs.

He fought at super-middle for his first fight, and LHW for two others.

did Orlin Norris defeat those titlists while weighing 200lb or less? Answer is no

I made it abundantly clear, wins only count if they weigh 200lb or less

Copy. Sorry. But the list makes no sense, then. Louis did not do much at 200, primarily getting beat my Max Schmeling. A lot of guys would similarly crumble.
