This should be fun. The manner of the victory is not being considered here. Just the quality of the opponent who was beaten.

    Heavyweight:
    1. FOTC - must be in the best 3 wins, because the fight would not have such a name
    2. The Rumble in the Jungle - no comment required
    3. Lewis Vs. Vitali - This is more my taste. A great farewell to a great champion, and the champion of the next generation is defeated.
(some think there are no great champions after Lewis; they may be wrong, but there is no undisputed champion)

This is a very rough draft but I'll give this a try.

    Heavyweight:
    1. FOTC
    2. Rumble in the jungle
    3. Louis vs Schmeling 1
    Cruiserweight:
    1. Holyfield vs Qawi 1
    2. Usyk vs Briedis
    3. Toney vs Jirov
    Light Heavyweight:
    1. Charles vs Moore III
    2. Greb vs Tunney I
    3. Spinks vs Qawi
    Super-middleweight:
    1. Jones vs Toney
    2. Calzaghe vs Kessler
    3. Canelo vs BJS? please feel free to point out anything you find wrong this list. I'm certainly am struggling on some divisons.
    Middleweight:
    1. Greb vs Walker
    2. Robinson vs Fullmer 2
    3. St. Valentine's day Massacre
    Super-Welterweight:
    1. Hearns vs Benitez
    2. Mayweather vs Canelo
    3. Wajima vs Albarado 2 (There's probably something way better that I'm forgetting but let me enjoy this brief moment where Wajima is mentioned in a thread.)
    Welterweight:
    1. Brawl in Montreal
    2. Robinson vs Gavilan 2
    3. Mclarnin vs Corbett. (This was a tough third place to pick I would like to hear other posters thoughts on this one. I'm sure one of the million Lewis-Britton fights could be on here instead.)
    Junior welterweight:
    1. Chavez vs Taylor
    2. Pryor vs Arguello 1
    3. Canzoneri vs Berg 2
    Lightweight:
    1. Ambers vs Armstrong 1
    2. Welsh vs Leonard 2
    3. Ortiz vs Laguna 3
Ok I know you might be thinking I missed Duran vs Dejesus 1 but they both missed the weight so I didn't know what to do with it. Honorable mention to Gan vs Erne 2
    Super Featherweight
    1. Morales vs Pacquiao 1
    2. Elorde vs Saddler 1
    3. Pacquiao vs Marquez 2
    Featherweight
    1. Pep vs Saddler 2
    2. Sanchez vs Gomez
    3. Marcel vs Arugello
Harada vs Famechon could be here if Willie Pep wasn't absolute dogwater at refereeing and judging.
    Super Bantamweight:
    1. Gomez vs Zarate
    2. Rigondeaux vs Donaire
    3. Morales vs Barrera 1
    Bantamweight:
    1. Harada vs Jofre 1
    2. McGovern vs Dixon (For featherweight title but at the modern bantamweight limit)
    3. Olivares vs Rose
    Super flyweight:
    1. Rungvisai vs Gonzalez 1
    2. Laciar vs Roman 2
    3. Moon vs Konadu 1
    Flyweight:
    1. Gonzalez vs Canto 1
    2. Lee vs Wilde 1
    3. Ebihara vs Kingpetch 1
    Light Flyweight:
    1. Chang vs Zapata 1 (yes I'm counting this as a win for Chang.)
    2. Gonzalez vs Estrada 1
    3. Yabuki vs Kenshiro 1
(honorable mention to Sorjaturong vs Gonzalez)
    Minimumweight
    1. Ioka vs Yaegashi
    2. Lopez vs Alvarez
    3. Gonzalez vs Takayama

No idea if that minimumweight list is good. Some divisions were really hard because of how many great wins there were it felt like I was drowning. But with minimumweight I felt like I was dying of thirst.

I might go back and change some things. Thanks for the thread

ah I probably should've read this before doing my list. I did consider the context and manner of victory. For example Robinson beating Fullmer is probably not top 3 in terms of quality of opponent for middleweight. However when you consider that Robinson was past prime, not in his best weight class, knocked out someone who had never been knocked out before or since, and became the first four time middleweight champion then it becomes top 3 for me.

    Featherweight:

    Saddler over Pep

    Saddler over Pep

    Saddler over Pep

He has three wins over the guy most rate as the greatest featherweight ever. All inside the distanced. Knocked him out and then made him quit twice.

Ok so I thought about it and Wajima vs Albarado 2 isn't better than Whitaker vs Vasquez,Jackson vs Norris, Hearns vs Duran and a bunch of others. I knew I was forgetting something. Please have a moment of silence for Wajima vs Albarado 2. We will always remember you.

Turpin vs Robinson is a great pick. Middleweight is really hard to limit to just three. Maybe the division with the most amount of great wins? If that's even a thing.

I pretty much agreed with all your choices in the first 3 divisions, i think those picks are pretty spot on TBH.

As for Middleweight yeah there is alot of choices, do you like Leonard coming out of retirement ending Hagler's reign ? or Taylor ending Hopkins's 20 title defence reign ? or do you like Tuprin giving Robinson only his 2nd loss in one of the biggest upsets ever at Middleweight ? Robinson's record at the time was 129-1.

Amongst all the other vast choices you have there's so many different criterias.

Ok so one, I really should've put spaces between the divisions to make that easier to read. I'll hopefully fix that later. Two, I for some reason counted Chang vs Zapata 1 but not other robberies such as Harada vs Famechon (which I even mention in the featherweight section.) I don't really know what I was doing there, I was probably desperate for 108 lbs wins due to a lack of knowledge. Three, not having Leonard vs Hearns 1 seems like a **** up on my part.

Somebody please do better than me! I know it's possible.
