Watching a few fights on espn classic earlier & Mr Atlas didnt even mention the UK in his top 4 fighter producing countries.....:patsch
Personally I think that love or hate the UK (I actually consider myself celtic welsh before british) The UK has got to figure in a shortlist of top fighting nations....
    US
    UK
    Mexico
    Peurto Rico....
In no particular order would be my pick....????

Yeah, I'd agree with that list. Considering neither Mexico or Puerto Rico have that prestigious a history in the sport. Prior to JCC, Mexico had never had a massive star. In recent years they far surpass Britain, but boxing was started here. Delve into the history books and it's dominated by British fighters.

    America
    Britain
    Mexico
    Puerto Rico

I think that when people do these lists they fail to realize how small puerto rico is. There are only 2 states in the US smaller than Puerto Rico in terms of square footage those are Deleware and Rhode island. Both New York and Los angeles have larger populations that PR. Despite being so small puerto rico has produced over 50 worl champions along with a handfull of hall of famers. P4P PR is #1

Based on Population PR is a goldmine and the amount of boxing talent in the rings and in the corners is staggering.

    Ruerto Rico i p4p number 1.

Going by population to boxer ratio, the US is a relative minow.
