I wouldn't say Joe is a great payday to be honest, certainly not on the same level as Hatton.

Frank Warren always likes to ensure that both he and Joe are sorted, then the WBO - before finally handing the opponent the bullets at the end.

Rumour has it that the Hatton - Phillips fight was almost called off ten minutes prior because Frank was only offering an unsecured cheque as opposed to banker's draft!

Mogens Palle offered Joe $5m to fight in Denmark but Frank refused (he wanted his share) but was unwilling to pay Kessler the same to fight here, contrary to reports.

If you really think he has "Phenomenal" skills I suggest you get yourself a pair of glasses:lol: He's average at best. What about having a fake Mayweather style mean Guzman has "Phenomenal" skill? He's garbage and will get ate up by a real lightweight with "Real" skills that can present him real problems. HE'S a FAKE MAYWEATHER RIP OFF. I would fight Guzman cause i'm bigger than him, i'm faster than him he ain't that quick, i'm meaner than him, and quite frankly his cheap Mayweather style DOESN'T mean he can't get hit. He's hittable. Your an idiot if you would duck him. That means if you fought him he would make you his woman. At least I was honest about guys that would present bigger threats.

True, but Quintana is also a southpaw. I'm not. I've sparred with plenty of southpaws but none that are 6 '0 and over

    Antonio Margarito, Miguel Cotto, Andrade.

You might win, but it's gonna hurt.

Wow I have to copy this one; this is arguably the most idiotic post I have ever read. You clearly haven't watched much of Guzman back in his 122-126 days. He is THE MOST ducked fighter out there, and has been for the last half dozen years. Fake Mayweather rip off? Guzman is nothing like Mayweather and has a style of his own, so I have no clue what you were trying to do with that comment that you wrote over and over. Go watch some boxing so you can learn more about it, then sign back on and make intelligent posts :hi:

Strictly speaking I'm a switcher. I am very left handed but have a half decent straight right so switch to use it!

I only do a bit of sparring though, never had a proper bout, because I am dumb enough already without taking a load of punishment. I also like beer and pizza, therefore making weight would be a huge issue.

Winky Wright (turtle defence and strong jab always sucks)
Floyd Mayweather (for the same reason as Wright, too frustrating to try and land anything.)
Guzman (he might not hurt you but he'd make you look slow and foolish)

As you can see I would hate looking like an ass in the ring more than actually getting beat up.

At my weight, I would avoid:

Sakio Bika - nobody KO's this guy and he'll be rough and dirty as hell for 12 rounds

Mikkel Kessler - I do not have Andrade's chin and don't want to be severely outpowered.

Antonio Tarver - He would wind me up so much before the fight that I would lose all focus and want to smash the **** to pieces and he'll probably make me look stupid all night.

If he doesn't have a Mayweather then why the hell does he have Floyd Mayweather sr as his trainer for genuis? If he doesn't have a Mayweather style then is his tucking his chin into his shoulder and rolling for? Those are Mayweather moves to me I don't know what kind of boxing your watching. And as far as that Soto fight, when people say Floyd Mayweather supposedly "runs" in his fights, what Guzman did a few instances against against Soto surley looked like running to me. I don't have to watch anything homeboy, this is all i'm about 24/7. As far him being "the most ducked fighter out there" I think your assumption is FOOLISH. Why the hell would big name fighters look at him for? The point of the events is to make money right? So why the hell would guys like Pacquiao or Marquez look at him for when they can make even more money fighting each other? You don't really think Guzman can beat Pacquiao do you?

Hey man I know what you mean. Training is hard and it's a pain in the ass when you don't wanna do it and just wanna eat all day and wanna party. I just can't imagine myself doing anything else other than this. I'm gonna be a bit of a late bloomer cause I wasn't really dedicated this year. But I look at guys like Antonio Tarver he turned pro at 28, and Nate Campbell didn't learn how to box until he was 24. I been boxing for the longest and still only 23 so I think I still gotta pretty good shot.

Hopkins - especially now he's been beaten by Joe C, he offers no reward but will make you look bad even if you're victorious.

Glen Johnson - hit him as hard as you like, as many times as you like and he'll still be there trying to land a bomb on you.

Kelly Pavlik - not rated high enough yet outside of hard core fans to warrant a victory over him and yet still capable of knocking you clean out!

I've judged this, as most others have I think, on a risk/reward factor. Cotto, Floyd, Haye, Hatton, Joe C etc are rated highly enough for a defeat to be respectable and they bring with them $$.

The welterweights, Quintana, Williams et al are also good enough for a defeat to not be a career ruiner. I think the three I've named would be a ***** to get beat by for an up and comer
