It's life or death for Mitch. He loses the morsel of credibility that he has left if Fury beats Whyte, in any way.

The excuses will come out that Whyte is past his prime and he was injured, or something. The version Joshua beat was better etc. (Whyte was inexperienced, out of shape and injured in that - but definitely with a better punch resistance, the only thing in his favour).

 

The cope will be very interesting. If Mitch is genuinely a bit autistic and believes in his CV algorithm thing then he’ll be forced to credit Fury. Anything else reveals what most of us suspect - it’s just some strange obsessive agenda.
