You're suggesting that it was on Floyd when Hatton simply said he was not ready. Even if Floyd had said I'll fight you in the UK for a dollar it was irrelevant. Its apples and oranges. Hatton said he was not ready for the fight irregardless of the conditions outside of the ring.

When that fell through they had Miranda moved up to #2 contender at WBA and tried to get that going, but by then Miranda had decided to fight Abraham.

Besides, what's the point of fighting a non-title fight on NEUTRAL ground in Canada (empty stands, small gate) against a guy who coundn't even win a title in MW which would get Kessler no credit if he won. And the WBA FORCED Haussler-Kessler despite Palle and Kesslers protests.
