Holyfield: Post '85 -when cruiserweight came into its own- and on out, you will never again see a light heavyweight or cruiserweight do at heavyweight what Holyfield did there. NEVER. Pump 'em all full of steroids, if you'd like, and they still won't do what he did. Not even close. 'Kind of like a cruiserweight/heavyweight version of Ray Robinson.

Robinson: 'Kind of like a welterweight/middleweight version of Holyfield, you know, he was faster and moved better, like a welterweight/middleweight would, but then again, he never consistently fought at 30 lb disadvantages.

Hagler: Never KO'ed, barely rocked. The chin is very much connected to the heart. Boxing is floundering because there are no more guys like this: big talent+big heart.

Damn this is hard. But here it goes

    1. Salvador Sanchez - That kid had it all and at 23 was barely approaching his prime. Has 2 ATG's to his resume and did it in spectacular fashion. Best featherweight and Mexican fighter ever.

    2. Sugar Ray Leonard - The prototype of Roy Jones and Floyd Mayweather and savior to boxing when Ali was on the way out. Great reflexes, most confident fighter I have ever seen, great chin, stamina, he had it all too. Underrated defense as well.

    3. Mike Tyson - When Cus D'Amato was alive, Tyson was unstoppable. He was a mold of Joe Frazier, Earnie Shavers, and Ali (speedwise). Like him or not, he had set the standard on how HW's should be getting ready and training themselves. Destruction to the body as well as the head, blinding combinations, overexaggerated head and waist movement to get past jabs and get inside, and one punch power. Alot of pretenders, but hasn't been one like Iron Mike since.

SRL - the most complete package - technique, speed, power, chin, heart and IQ.
SRR - the precursor to SRL. Technique can be sloppy at times (winding shots) but he was way ahead of everybody during his era. I don't think there has been any boxer that was that ahead of his own era in regards to complete package.
Armstrong - power, speed, endurance, IQ.

HM - Hagler - just lacked the deadly speed - more than maked up for it with IQ, technique, heart/chin made of the Earth's core.
RJJ - chin/heart I cant say if it was good or bad. Just not enough proof either way during his prime
MAB - not quite physically gifted as the others I mentioned before but got everything else (technique, chin/heart, IQ, etc).

Chavez was the greatest Mexican fighter ever & Willie Pep was a greater FW & would have outboxed Sanchez in a H2H also.

ali cas he had EVERYTHING that can be classed as an attribute and one of very few boxers to have this distinction

ray leonard had speed, perfect technical skills, power over a number of weights and a strong chin and heart

DLH-similar to SRL,he had speed, huge power, the ability to jump weight classes, great boxing skill, heart,an outstanding chin,ok but not great resistance to cuts went against him but his business and marketability factor made up for it to earn him a place on my list
