I can't think of any real bangers IMO

Marquez, Morales, Barrera perhaps (DLH was a shell)

Morales and BArrera are some serious bangers.

Ask Juan Diaz and Joel Casamayor if Marquez is a banger or not.

I don't think either Morales or Barrera's power carried up from 122lb very well to 126lb and 130lb.

    1. Oscar De La Hoya
    2. Juan Manuel Marquez
    3. Marco Antonio Barrera

I don't think that is the question of the thread.

Who are the three hardest hitters that Manny Pacquiao has faced? De La Hoya hits harder than all of the Super Featherweights, irrespective of how he performed on the night.

    I'm not asking you anything.

Title of thread: Top 3 Hardest hitting fighters Pac has faced thus far?

Undeniably Oscar would be number 1, irrespective of whether he performed to the best of his abilities or not.

So that would mean the best fighter Larry Holmes faced was Ali?

We should avoid comparing Muhammad Ali of Holmes to the Oscar De La Hoya that recently lost to Manny Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao is essentially a Super Featherweight, and he moved up several divisions to take on a Welterweight who had knocked out the likes of Fernando Vargas and Ricardo Mayorga. If the question of the thread is, who is the hardest hitter that Manny Pacquiao has faced? It's Oscar De La Hoya.

Oscar was clearly weight drained, but power is always the last thing to go in a professional prizefighter. Had he landed cleanly with a big left hook on Manny Pacquiao that night, I'm inclined to think there would have been a reaction irrespective of his physical condition.

It's good to see some logic and sanity being employed in this forum.

Well, its a perfectly valid comparism - if I started a thread called 'Who is the best fighter Holmes faced?' then the reply using the same logic you applied to this thread would be Ali.

Are you saying that ODH could have hurt Pac that night?:huh
