Dave Sands is a name who gets put in the conversation. Lucas Browne technically is the first Australian to have a World Title belt at Heavyweight despite getting caught with PEDs and is still in the history book as a world champion. Dave Sands, Lucas Browne and Joe Goddard probably get it for me. Poor choices but our Heavyweights haven't been great.

Yes. Achievement wise, Joe Louis should probably be above Frazier, but h2h Frazier all day.

Good call on Glazkov. Yeah, he might be higher than Vyrchys. Not for sure though. Glazkov hadn't beaten anybody except of Adamek, who was a former LHW. He got a gift against Cunningham. I was rooting for him in that fight, but I always try to be objective. But Vyrchys also got a gift decision - against Michael Sprott. So... It's pretty tugh call. Anyway, Usyk will likely surpass them soon.

But as for South African ranking, I can't see any way how anybody can rank Botha over Sanders. Just pure facts:

    - Sanders beat Botha 4 times in the amateurs (3 of them by KO)

    - Sanders had better win to loss ratio

    - Sanders won the title fair and square, Botha got an awful decision against Shulz and got caught using sterionds after the fight - so, he wasn't a champion

    - Sanders beat 4 world champions. Yes, only 1 of them was heavyweight (Wlad), other 4 were cruiserweights and two of those cruisers were shot (De Leon and Czyz). But it still much better than Botha's zero wins over champions. Plus Sanders had some other solid wins in his resume - Cooper, DuPlooy, Puritty, KO1 wins over Mike Williams, Sprott and Billups, who went the distance against Lennox Lewis. Botha's best win is a gift split decision decision over Mike Hunter. His second best win is a SD (this time it was fair decision) over Timo Hoffman. Botha's resume is VERY thin in wins column.

    - And lastly: 32-years-old Botha was dominated and knocked out by 25-years-old Wladimir Klitschko, while 37-years-old Sanders demolished Wlad in two rounds a year later.

Can't see any possible way to rank Botha over Sanders

I just like Botha, such a nearly man. Sanders most likely is more accomplished.

beat Schulz but was juiced to the gills, was clowning semi-shot Tyson till he got cocky and iced, drew with Briggs.

Thing is I really like sanders too, dad bod, preferred golf, had a great nickname that suited him and his sneaky left, never feared no man.

    respect to both

H2H there are several guys who should be ahead of Frazier. For example, Foreman, Tyson, Holyfield, Holmes.

Foreman definitely, Holyfield & Tyson maybe, but not Holmes. prime4prime Frazier beats Holmes.

Both were warriors, no doubt about that. Sanders was more talented and more accomplished though

H2H is tricky thing. Fraizer might be a stylistic nightmare for Holmes, but Holmes might be a stylistic nightmare for Foreman. And we know Foreamn was one for Frazier
