Yeah, Vic, that was one of the more comedic posts that I've seen lately. Talk about the fan boys getting carried away by another stock Hopkins win over a less than mediocre opponent...

seriously Floyd is top 50? Above guys like tyson, morales, and lewis?
How about the likes of Napoles, Spinks and Frazier?
His rankings suffer because he does not want to fight pacquiao. Plus he ducked cotto and would refuse a fight with martinez

methinks a little too much is being made of Hopkins this week... He is afterall a whopping 6-3-1 over his last 10 fights. Amazing considering his age, but kinda pedestrian in an objective sense.

Yeah, that´s his official record. It´s more like 9-0-1 though.

Anyway, he´s not Top30. Top40 seems about right I think.

why do people criticize my list without posting their own ? actually they don't have a clue about their top 30 . i am quite convinced about my list although i pointed a few possible holes about it myself.

Floyd is not top 50, B-Hop is just outside mine. He scores very high in the longevity part of my criteria.

I am impressed at how his experience has made him a better fighter as he aged and his opposition has been better late in his career and he is comfortable at 175lb. I would not pick him against an old Archie Moore but his condition and preservation is remarkable....his last fight was near perfect....his overall prime due to experience is near and he has only shown a bit of age and that was at 160lbs vs Taylor..he has shown to be strong at 175 and has had his best career wins vs his best opposition at an advanced age

Here is my Top 50 ATG list.
Not really an original list, but I do believe Hopkins, Pacquiao and Floyd are justified here.
