The website has just been launched but if your interested in boxing I think those stats will change your mind. The ratings posted are March so are a bit out but they have been calculated on 22 years of work and are based on the man that beat the man. They were the industry standard until 1999, then licenced to the IBO. It is hard to argue with facts, I think subjectively it is easy to say things like Pulev is better than Povetkin and I would agree that, but whilst subjective ratings are easy enough to do with a top 10 it gets much harder as you do a 20,30 or beyond. I am sure Anthony Joshua would beat most of the fighters in that top 100 tomorrow, but until he beats one of them he does not get ranked.

You clearly don't know everything, because you would have to be an idiot not to include Wlad in the top 20 HW's of all time....

I agree Wlad belongs in the top 20 AT. He has ruled the planet for 10 years.

Ruled the planet against nobodies. Sam peter as your best win makes you a top 20 HW? Ok. Nice try

and with Vitali - his career best moment is getting stopped by Lennox Lewis - a 38 year old past his prime worst shape of his life Lennox Lewis. And don't bring up the slimmest of margins 2 pt edge on the scorecard - Vitali was not winning going to win that fight regardless

    1. Ali
    2. Louis

    then in
    This content is protected
    - don't give me any nonsense about the order of this list it is not in terms of rankings
    3. Holmes
    4. Marciano - overrated like the Klitschkos, but his weak wins are not as weak as the Klitschkos
    5. Dempsey
    6. Jack Johnson
    7. Harry Wills
    8. Sam Langford
    9. Mike Tyson
    10. Sonny Liston
    11. Ezzard Charles
    12. Jersey Joe Walcott - his robbery against Joe Louis is more than enough to surpass Klitschkos
    13. George Foreman
    14. Evander Holyfield
    15. Riddick Bowe - his only good wins are Holyfield, but that is by far more than enough to surpass Sam Peter as your best win
    16. Gene Tunney
    17. Joe Frazier
    18. Lennox Lewis - he destroyed the better of the Klitschkos despite being in the worst moment of his career at 38 yrs old, so obvious choice
    19. Ken Norton - his wins over Ali and Young surpass anything the Klitschkos did, despite his multiple KO losses
    20. Sam Mcvey - wins over Langford, Jeanette, and Wills surpass anything of the Klitschkos
    21. Max Schmeling
    22. Archie Moore

and the ONLY reason the Klitschkos would have a few - and i mean few - wins in head to head matches against these guys is simply because heavyweights from a long long time ago were smaller - not because they are less skilled/accomplished than Klitschkos.
