Actually Dawson look spent after that early flurry and Pascal might have taken him out... But we'll never know for sure. I was at that fight and Dawson was nowhere near KO'ing Pascal.
Yes, I consider the wins over Bika and Green > a win over Abraham and a loss over Kessler. I don't consider factors such as fight location as you will have to do this for all other 30 boxers, which is too much. Dawson and Adamek are ranked in the same tier or group. As i said, the order within the group can be switched and I don't think it is absurd to have Adamek ranked over Dawson or vice versa. Adamek's loss to Dawson in 2007 was his last loss, while Dawson's most recent fight was a loss to Pascal who I did not have in my P4P list before their fight. both alexander and khan are in the same tier or group as well. Devon Alexander, Tomasz Adamek, Paul Williams, Chad Dawson, Amir Khan Headbutting or not, he won over Kessler, a P4P ranked boxer, which to me is more impressive than a win over Harrison or Ruiz, who would not even make a top 50 list. I can't keep track of on which soil all 30 P4P fighters won.
so your p4p list places no emphasis on fighting on foreign soil or the circumstances of a win or a robbery for a fighter, or winning titles at 2 different weights. no wonder you score ward so high, you must have had ottke in your top 5 p4p list of years if you think beating shite like green and bika on your home turf gets you in there. incidently, where did you have kessler in your p4p list before he got headbutted to death by ward?
I think Juan Manuel Lopez should be put higher on the list, but this is probably the best one I've seen so far even though I don't agree with all of it
Not bad. I wouldn't be about to logically compile a top 30 right now so credit to you. If I had to nit-pick. Pong isn't top 10 for me. Nor is Vitali. Dawson probably still a bit higher. Kameda I wouldn't put ahead of Gonzalez. Wouldn't put Guerrero in there. But other than that, no real faults. Good effort.
Lopez, Bradley, Vitali and even Pascal you could definetely make a case for being ahead of Ward. Ward is not top 10, all of the above fighters have better resumes than Ward, and have been at the top of the sport much longer. Beating Kessler does not adequately qualify a fighter for a position in the top 10. Winning the super 6 would, but not one good win on it's own.
