famechon is allowed if it matters.

harding and thompson over darcy looks questionable, any particular reason for that?

Young Griffo and Peter Jackson deserve a mention. Just from the historical perspective.

I cant put together a top five but I can name some of our best. Les Darcy, Jeff Fenech, Dave Sands, Johnny Famechon, Jack Carroll, Jimmy Carruthers and Lionel Rose could all be considered for a top five spot. If you're including old timers then Paddy Slavin and Young Griffo deserve a mention.

Some others for consideration are Ambrose Palmer, Ron Richards, Fred Henneberry, Vic Patrick, Jeff Harding, Barry Michael, Jeff Harding and Lester Ellis.

Was he the one that fought Tony Galento?

Does Bob Fitzsimmons count? If not Darcy is probably #1.

Not in order yet but these are the best/
    Les Darcy
    Young Griffo
    Peter Jackson
    Jeff Fenech
Johnny Famechon (if you disregard Tszyu who I think is better than Johnny)

    Deserve consideration :-
    Dave Sands
    Jimmy Carruthers
    Lionel Rose
    Vic Darchinyan

Not the best but should be mentioned
    Sands
    Richards
    Hennebury
    Palmer

Here is Sands beating Olson in what the commentator says is for the right to fight champion Robinson.
Wonder why he never got his title chance?
