Lewis floored Tommy Morrison with a jab like it was a right hand. And near lifted Vitali off his feet with one.

When did Wlado ever make a statement like that:think

If, in fact, the topic is about powerjabs (what the f*ck does "made a staement (sp)" even mean?), Lewis definitely in the argument. Wlad controls space better with his jab... and if we are going there, then Ali has to be in there. His jab certainly made a staement.

Wlad’s jabs sounded like a linebacker hitting an offensive tackle—thundering off at will. From boxing insider in the Wach fight.

No,Lewis did not have Wlads power jab,nor speed at which he could and still throws it.

Wlad's jab is sharper and more dynamic (changes speed and rate and distance)... which he kind of requires it to be because he doesn't have the all around game to fall back on that Lewis had.

But Lewis had a helluva powerjab.

Mike Tyson also floored Razor Ruddock with one,who had a better chin than Morrison,it doesn't mean Tyson had the best jab.

The jab is the true weapon of Wladimir Klitschko’s dominance. I’m going go out on a limb here and say that the jab of Wladimir Klitschko is the best in boxing since the reign of Larry Holmes, maybe even better. It’s almost a cliche in boxing, the way in which we extol the virtues of the simple lead hand jab. But we do so with good reason. In this fight Wladimir breaks up Hasim Rahman right from the outset, and the jab is the weapon of choice.
By the time our clip begins, Hasim Rahman must have eaten about 50 jabs a round for the previous 4 rounds. And these are big jabs. Hats off to Klitschko, the arm extends, accelerating onto the target. There is zero elbow flare, Rahman just doesn’t have the time to defend against this job because of the technical perfection of the shot. Any young fighters wanting to know how to jab properly, this is the fight to watch. I don’t need to point out times, there’s barely 5 seconds go by without him slamming home this javelin of a shot. myboxingcoach.com

Have these fanboi's no standards:tired:-( Bringing up Rahmans Ghost who took the fight on late notice and who was never that good even when prime during the 90s.

It seems Wlads jab is only effective on C levelers or fighters who are shot to bits.
Against live opponents it became a non factor. See Vitali shut Peters out with the jab. See Wlad completely fail in two fights. Against Peter :dead:roll:

Tyson came forward as a smaller man and out jabbed Tony Tucker. Thats more impressive than Wlad using his massive height to stiff arm smaller C raters who came forward in straight lines.
The Klitschko can't jab a moving target nor jab on the move so it would be rendered useless against Elite calibre opposition.

The point wasn't Rhaman ,it was technique and how he utilizes it! Tysons jab for the most part was for setting up inside attacks, his jab was not a top 5 jab but certainly a top 10,anyone can see that. Yet Wlad hammered defensive wizard Byrd to death with it.....wrong again, how many wrongs do you get a day dino ,im starting to be curious on that statistic?

Golota out jabbed Byrd before Byrd fought Wlad.

That Golota was shot and his jab was long gone from a car crash he was in.

Byrds legs were gone against Wlad and he literally just stood there blocking punches with his head.

The difference is Byrd stood right in front of golota more, are you trying to tell me Golota is a better jabber too? you obviously do not watch ANy fight footage everything you say is lopsided and incorrect. :-(

Nah, he was less shotted vs Golota.

You see Golota was so far gone , he couldn't even throw power shots , much less a jab like he used to.

If the barometer of Wlads great jab is set on the Byrd fight , what does that makes Golota's in 2004? The best ever?

Golota barley even landed any jabs on Byrd they were batted down with the lead right, you are cluelss . his main punches were the left hook and straight right which also was slow as molasses, and still couldn't land clean shots with byrd right in front of him. :patsch
