sorry if this has been done before but I couldn't find any threads on this, anyway who do you think make the list
In no particular order: Julio Ceasr Chavez Ricardo "Finito" Lopez Ruben Olivares Carlos Zarate Salvador Sanchez
The good thing is we have tape on all of them. Coming up in the states around that time. A ritual with my friends was tuning in the fights from Mexico, every Saturday. I got to see Canto in many fights, also Gilberto Roman, both were not the typical Mexicans they were boxers. A bunch of Salvador Sanchez's early fights. Yessir those were the days so many good fights and fighters.
Watching Chucho Castillo v Olivares, great stuff. George Parnassus should be given a lot of credit for promoting competitive fights among the smaller men he put some Mexican fighters on the map in the US and via TV, the UK.
