Its harder to decide when we include 2 decades as our era. Lots of potential to 5 candidates

    So what ? :huh

Look what the guy put INTO those 29 yrs.....

    Mexican champion at 18.
    world champion at 21.
    3 weight world champion at 122, 126 & 130.
    fighter of the year 1999.
A peak record of 41-0 or 47-1, whichever one you prefer.
Legitimate victories over 2 ATGs Barrera & Pacquiao when both were in or very near their primes.
Victories over other very good fighters in... Jr Jones, Zaragoza, McCullouch, Chi, Ayala, Espadas x 2, Chavez, Hernandez.

Then for a laugh you can throw in his skills & attributes as a fighter, then just to be outrageous you can name multiple wonderfull (some ATG) fights that he has been in & even won.

Morales is 1 of the greatest fighters of all time, whats wrong with you ?

    :-(

I think anyone who DOES include Lewis is... well not dumb... but badly overrating him just because he was the best HWT since Tyson.

On a p4p level, which surely this thread is all about, then Lennox maybe wouldnt even crack my top 10-15.

    No way :nono

I think you're underestimaiting the puglilist specialist.

Like I mentioned before he was legitimate, linear, internationally recognized, undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World - surely that has got to count for something?

And he beat everyone he faced, including the very best guys in the division over a long period of time.

I agree. Lewis deserves to be in that top 5.

I don't have Morales in my top 5 since 1990, but I think he is a perfectly valid choice. ****ing brilliant boxer.
