Why not play a theoretical game between what I think we can safely call the top 5 current active heavyweights. If they all fought eachother, who do you have beating eachother? In no particular order: Joyce v Usyk: Usyk by decision Wilder v Joyce: Joyce by TKO, 50/50 fight Fury v Usyk: Fury by mid-late stoppage Fury v Joshua: Fury by mauling mid rounds TKO Wilder v Joshua: Wilder by mid rounds KO Fury v Joyce: Fury keeps Joyce at bay, wins on points 60/40 Wilder v Usyk: Usyk by points, 60/40 Joyce v Joshua: Joyce by mid-late stoppage Fury v Wilder: Fury Usyk v Joshua: Usyk Ultimate Winner: Tyson Fury. Some super exciting match ups. Especially Joyce v Wilder, Joyce v Fury, and Wilder v Usyk. Poor old AJ doesn't get a single win in my view but I still rate him, just not against these guys. I won't go OTT into detail but let's discuss in the thread...
Not sure but I think Ruiz and Fury can beat Usyk even though he is the most skiled heavyweight in the world, AJ would get nowhere in this tournament.
Lol so basically you are the typical biased Tyson Fury fanboy. Tyson Fury isn't stopping or beating Usyk. Tyson Fury couldn't maul a 5 year old kid never mind Anthony Joshua. Joyce his horrible and slow but I would still favor him over Fury.
Joyce v Usyk: Usyk by hard fought decision Wilder v Joyce: Joyce by late KO or wide UD Fury v Usyk: I am 51-49 leaning in favor of Fury, I suspect he wins by razor close and controversial decision. Fury v Joshua: Fury wins by mid-late round brutal KO Wilder v Joshua: 50/50 fight, I think today Wilder finds a way to stop AJ. Fury v Joyce: Fury by at times competitive UD Wilder v Usyk: Usyk by a surprisingly close decision, if Wilder comes in light and quick he's got a 10% chance of catching lightning in a bottle. Joyce v Joshua: Joyce by close UD, small chance of late stoppage, AJ does better against Joyce than Wilder IMO Fury v Wilder: Fury by mid-late round KO forever Usyk v Joshua: Usyk by UD forever Ultimate Winner: Tyson Fury, by a hair over Usyk.
I think Usyk will beat Fury and that's for the singular reason that Fury can't find it within himself to train all out to beat what he sees as a 'middleweight'.
I'm sure that if he replaces Fury with Usyk you'll agree, but will claim you're not biased, especially with your third sentence. So one has no right to like Fury without being accused for that?
Ruiz definitely can't beat Usyk unless something goes seriously wrong for Usyk. Usyk is all wrong for Ruiz IMHO.
Actually you are wrong. Maybe try that again. Usyk is beat a overrated Anthony Joshua and now people act like Usyk is some kind of boxing deity. Also this person is clearly biased for Tyson Fury. I am not biased for anybody. I only tell the truth.
I think Ruiz would be tough cuz of his hand speed. A broken clock is right twice a day, and I think eventually Ruiz would catch him. He's also MUCH better at finding the body than AJ. Thing is, Usyk is going to look human against everyone he fights at Heavyweight. Just like Tyson did. It's tough to always fight bigger guys. Tyson was only 5'10.
I partially agree with what you say for the Usyk part. But why not Fury winning over him, maybe not mauling him, but who knows... Joshua managed to hurt him. You claim the opposite, that's fine. It's a big dispute, but the problem is most of the fans are too biased and don't lead adequate discussions, adding the fact many people don't get Fury's personality (not that they should) and the negativity towards him grows more than what is his fault for.
#1 Fury #2 Wilder #3 Usyk #4 Joyce #5 Joshua. I rate them on how I'd think they'd do head to head. Wilder is the wild card when rating them ,with his lousy footwork and flaws he could potentially lose to all those behind him,,or he could put them to sleep. But I'd favor him to take them all out except of course for Fury. Joyce is an interesting match for these guys, he's hittable so Wilder is incredibly dangerous for him . Fury would outbox him and he has the boxing ability to take a clear UD. Usyk I'd say gets a UD over Joyce but I'm not at all confident. If Usyk slows down late he could get axed. Joshua? he's yesterdays news, overrated and gets beat by them all.
I am not a Fury fanboy. But I see what my eyes see. Fury and Usyk are both very skilled boxers but Fury is a lot bigger and punches harder. Plus, his team will no doubt insist on a small ring. Of course I wouldn't rule out Usyk managing to outmaneuver Fury but I personally don't see it happening. We all have different opinions, which is what sparks discussions
