I always used to put Juan Carlos Gomez in there but maybe i was wrong to do so, i haven't really looked into doing a cruiserweight list for about three years,

Holyfield and DeLeon are top 2 in my opinion. After that it gets difficult.

Steve Cunningham should warrant a mention I think. Only two very controversial losses, and has already beaten every other current title holder.

    Was DeLeon really that good?

He wasn't that good, but you don't have to be that good to be one of the best cruiserweights.

Cruiserweights are wank. Its been a toss division for about 20 years with no sign of ever being good

True enough, I always thought Qawi was a better number 2 pick than DeLeon.

    DeLeon is a 5-time champ isn't he?

Do you guys think Johnny Nelson had an extraordinary career? The first half was riddled with 12 losses then the 2nd half he won a title and defended it about 14 times.

But Qawi didn't really accomplish much at all as a cruiserweight aside from the competitive loss to a young Holyfield.

    Yeah that's true actually.

It's a very weak division Holyfield aside.

There's definitely Holyfield and then there's the rest. But I give DeLeon credit for sticking to the division and fighting whoever was around, unlike most others who use the division as a springboard to the heavyweights.

    #1 is Holyfield

If you want to include HWs who fought under 200Lbs. it might get interesting... Dempsey, Tunney, Marciano, Louis, Charles, Walcott, Patterson, etc.

Enzo Maccarinelli might even scrape a mention here.
