    Top 5 Greatest Fighters

    Give your Criteria (anything goes)
State your top 5, with a brief explanation.
No mocking please, this is could get ugly otherwise

My criteria is Résumé, Achievements and extra points for moving up

    1. Sam Langford
Unbelievable résumé with ATG wins across the board
Wills, Ketchel, Gans, McVea, Jeanette, G. Smith, J. Smith, Jim Flynn, O'Brian, Clark, as well as robberies imo (for Johnson) from Johnson and Joe Walcott (which I haven't seen)
Moved up from LW-HW and was vastly outweighed in most of his contests

    2. Harry Greb
Imo the best résumé in boxing history, with ATG wins over Bartfield, Tunney, Walker, Rosenbloom, Loughran, Flowers, McTigue, Norfolk, Jackie Clark, Levinsky and Gibbons, and that's like half of it
He also moved about his fair share as well, jumping between MW and LHW
Also won of the longest win streaks in boxing history (Achievements)

    3. Muhammad Ali
    Greatest nuff said.
But all jokes aside, he has an incredible résumé, Moore, Cooper, Liston, Patterson, Williams, Folley, Terrell, Quarry, Elis, Fraizer, Foreman, Norton, Foster, Lyle, Shavers, Spinks (lineal champ no matter how underwhelming)
He has no extra points for weight movement but he is the only 3 time lineal champ (Achievements)

    4. Ezzard Charles
One of the best résumés ever.
Burley, Bivins, Moore, Marshall, Maxim, Lesnivich, Layne, Ray, Louis, Walcott, Smith and Valentino as well as loads of others
He also gets extra points for moving up from MW to HW
He also has the most wins of any HW champ and is the only man to go 15 with Marciano (Achievements)

    5. Sugar Ray Robinson
Another excellent résumé, with wins over
LaMotta, Basilio, Fulmer, Olson, Graziano, Turpin, Gavalin, Taylor, Doyle, Armstrong and Zivic, among loads of others
Moved up to MW from WW
    Only 5 time MW champ

    1 SRR
    2 Greb
    3 Armstrong
    4 Langford
    5 Charles

But I am still tweaking it, I do think these are my top 5 although the order could get shuffled

    Roy Jones Jr.
    Sugar Ray Leonard

    Manny Pacquiao

Eye test and level of competition are the only things that matter.

    Harry Greb
    Resume speaks for itself

    Ray Robinson
Arguably the greatest fighter along with Greb

    Roberto Duran
Greatest fighter on film I ever saw

    Henry Armstrong
If he wouldn't have gotten ripped off in his MW Championship bout he would have held most of the belts simultaneously.

    Ezzard Charles
    Beat everybody ..master boxer
Note. I only edited my spelling mistakes nothing else.

    Welcome back George.

Just a pointer buddy, but if that SeanK account is you then ask a moderator to delete it as having 2 accounts will get you booted.
