Duran/Leonard I is still my choice. I just see it as the highest level of skill ever in one ring at the same time. You could argue Leonard/Hearns as well, but while the skill level was just as high, the level the fight was fought at was not.

Duran vs Leonard I got one of my votes as well. Two of the best fighters ever going toe-to-toe nonstop for fifteen rounds. Duran actually had the better of the boxing exchanges - while on occasion - Leonard was able to outwork Duran on the inside. Overall, Duran brutalized Leonard from pillar to post. It was the apotheosis of Duran's career. He was unbeatable on that night.

The same could be said of many of these great fights and fighters mentioned.

An all time great fight (not all time great fighters) was Ray Boom Boom Mancini v. Do Ku Kim (G@D rest his soul) it was just a sick sick fight....and also because of the ulitmate result....very sad

Douglas v. Tyson----ignoring the controversial long count.....Buster Douglas put on a performance for the ages.....his combinations were some of the most devastating I've ever seen.......And Tyson hit him with some crazy power shots.....The fight was more well known for Tyson losing, but Douglas etched himself a place in history with his once in a lifetime performance....I'd even go out on a limb and say it was one of the best heavy weight performances of all time.....

What I remember very distinctly about that fight was Evander's entrance....He walked out with 100% confidence, not a false bravado,
but one of calm assuredness, a battle tested warrior, who had said Tyson was a bully, and he wasn't scared of bullys.....:good

Well, i think Greb-Walker, Armstrong-Ross and Charles-Moore at least rivals Duran-Leonard. Oh and wasn´t there a fight Langford-Walcott? This one would be up there too.
