Similar to the last one but at 175lbs. Same approach of me questioning everything. I love me some LHWs, hoping to see some more awesome responses.

    How'd you see it?

Off the top of my head, without really thinking about it, I got Foster, Spinks, RJJ, Charles, Moore as a top five H2H list. Would have to consider Fitzsimmons, Moorer and Langford as well, but for now I'm sticking with those five.

No Tunney? How about Loughran, Greb or Lewis? No Conn? Qawi?

Have you got any order between your 5, and/or match ups differentiating them?

Is this in order? If so, Moore > Charles is ... strange?

Seriously though, no Loughran? How about Conn or Spinks? Id say both all 3 are arguable over one of those guys.

Not in any particular order. I like my list. Spinks is highly over rated imo. Conn was good I just don’t think he edges out the others

Got to be Charles at no. 1 - resume and H2H.
I didn't rate Greb at middleweight so I won't rate him here either.
I don't rate Jones as high at LHW as at middleweight, just because he doesn't have the same advantages that he has at 160.
Bob Foster in his 60s prime is a tough ask for anyone - he's my number 2.
    Archie Moore at 3.
    Michael Spinks at 4.
Maybe Conn at 5, although Tunney runs him close.

How come? I'd have thought Spinks was at least next to, or over Tunney/Jones. I agree, I wouldn't have Conn either, but surely he's on a Jones level?

With the five I picked, I was thinking off the top of fighters who could handle a variety of threats, either in a firefight or a test of boxing skills, who wouldn't be lost in either situation. Probably wouldn't end up ordering them as such, and I'd need to take a lot more time to really consider where I'd rank them within the list.

Tunney could certainly trouble some of my choices, Qawi is a great choice for H2H situations and could sneak in at the end, his mix of heavy punches and slick defense was always tricky, especially at his proper weight. Greb is a tough one to consider for obvious reasons, can't dismiss the results, can't fully get a sense of him H2H without film. I could see him something like a super Beterbiev not in a 1-1 sense, but in a sense where he just pressured people until they broke, and could take everything they threw back at him most of the time. I'd classify Loughran and Conn simlarily in that both would be tricky foes for anyone, with Conn having more power, to boot, and I'd probably have to throw in Rosenbloom into that category.

Some good ones to ruminate on here, and I'll see if I can't re-evaluate and order my choices in the next few days.

Ahhh, an ordering! Something to pick apart...

Agreed, Charles should really be a lock for 1, or at least top 2.

Foster at 2? Howso? Do you, and if so how do you, see him beating Moore, Spinks, Conn, Tunney ect?

Moore is a respectable choice, nothing to say. How'd you think it plays out between Moore and Tunney? How about him vs Spinks?

Again, similarly I can't argue against Spinks at 4. Would you see him beating Conn, Loughran, Tunney or Moore?

Finally, did you consider anyone else for #5? I haven't done mine yet but does Loughran get a look in? Qawi or Mustafa? Maybe Harold Johnson?

Moorer is certainly interesting. Especially over Spinks? How come, pal.

To be frank, I'm very glad you've thrown Rosenbloom into the mix. Very complicated fighter, even more complicated due to how difficult it is too gauge a fighter with no footage. I'd like to throw one of his chief rivals in, though. James J Braddock. How about the ironclad, Cinderella Man? I think he's a ***** for most guys.

Conn and Loughran are very difficult for anyone, although I'd pick Qawi to beat both on an impulse pick.
