    Jnr middle?

    Supermiddle...?

    Cruiser...?

Only fighters who have fought there since those divisions inception.

    Ill have a go

    Jnr middle

    1) Hearns
    2) McCallum
    3) Jackson
    4) Benvenuti
    5) Norris

Probably Benitez, Kalule and De la Hoya deserve a mention. Technically Griffith aswell actually.

    Supermiddle...

    1) Roy Jones
    2) Joe Calzaghe
    3) James Toney
    4) Chris Eubank?
    5) Michael Nunn?

Collins and Ottke deserve a shout also.

    1) Holyfield
    2) Gomez
    3) Qawi
    4) Jirov
    5) Nelson

Im sure Toney should be in there somewhere but I got him at supermiddle for now.

how about we take the past heavyweights who fought under 200 lbs as cruisers? In that case:

    1. Louis
    2. Dempsey
    3. Marciano
    4. Holyfield
    5. Johnson

I'd take him to KO Norris personally. That glass jaw of Terry's doesn't inspire much confidence in hypothetical matchups with punchers.

What am I missing with Gomez? How about Carlos De Leon, considering how shallow the division's history is?

Having just recently viewed footage of him, I'd say Ralph Dupas is clearly among the best 154 pounders I've seen on film. Will be back later in the day to expand.

Toney most definitely beats Calzaghe at supermiddle. JT would have a field day with Calzaghe's sloppy defence.

Dupas???? Please do expand Pea, not heard much on him to be honest.

And I agree that Trinidad COULD spark Norris.....but don't you think Norris could just as easily outbox and put the hurt on Tito???

I'd pick Norris over more 'Boxers'....but Trinidad over more 'punchers', but that's an obvious fact that most would agree with anyway :good

Imagine a Welterweight version of Willie Pep and Orlando Canizales's offspring. That's what Dupas reminded me of in his shutout masterclass of Gil Turner that I watched a highlight of earlier today. Amazing footwork and angle fighter, beautiful boxer.
