its usually the fans i dislike more than the actual fighter.

 

people calling hopkins a racist are just brits who dont understand the culture in american gyms where african american fighters dominate...hopkins explained it to steve bunce and even bunce backed him up.

1) oscar de la hoya- expects boxing just to stop for him so he can have a few more disgraceful money fights and gets in the way of other big fights.
2) joe calzaghe- ignorant and arrogant to the point of stupidity
3) floyd mayweather- i defend the guy constantly on here but any fighter would kill to have talent like that and he's just poopooed it away
4) kessler- i wouldnt say i dislike him more his promoter and fans. Fans who claim hes this and that from decent wins against C grade competition
5) taylor- never paid his dues and got everything gift wrapped for him on a plate by HBO

 

Having read the posts which have been listed thus far, the guys 'hated' are the most prominent pros, biggest money spinners, and without a doubt.... the most sub-conciously manipultated fighters.. with exception of De La Hoya. DHL controls his own future and distaste amongst the fans... Another way the game is turning its fans against the fighters.... shitty promotions and management.

All the names mentioned are CLASS fighters.... disliking a fighters attitude is one thing, yet "hating" a fighter is another. Shitful management will ensure a fighters reputation to remain questionable, despite the accolades and titles recieved throughout a career. Many HOFs of recent years are simply "world champions" who NEVER unified a title. Hating a fighter takes up too much of your own energy.... being dissatisfied at their career legitimacy is a better option, and slagging off the clown who continue to make positive comments about unproven fighters, especially on this forum, is far more enjoyable than sitting back in ya own personal space and dwelling on a subject.

 

im surprised knowbodys mentioned 'fraudley' Harrison, being from the uk he is hated against massively, almost all of his fights are booed or there is a kick-off of some sort! does any1 like him?
speaking of audley can anyone think of any olympic gold maedalists with big reps that have failed to deliver as badly as him?:think
