Hard not to include Ali, perhaps if not for his exile I would of included him. However a good jab dictates and controls the fight, I feel Ali did that with his legs more so than with his jab. Norton was able to jab with him for 3 fights, it didn't keep Frazier off of him and he didn't defeat Foreman with it. It was beautiful but I think the guys I mentioned owe more of their success to their jab than Ali does to his. It's almost too difficult to narrow down to five and I can't really exclude Ali maybe take Foreman out.

I like this list. It eschews the popular choices for men that had superb jabs in their own right and don't get mentioned.

When he chose to use it, George Foreman had a heavy, thudding, surprisingly accurate jab. Not saying he's Top 5, but his jabs hurt.

Thank you sir! Everybody else just drops some of these classics:

    Holmes
    Ali
    Lewis
    Klitschko
    Liston
    Bowe
    Foreman

And so on. Boring, and these guys had alot more to there game than just a jab. Latest Klitschko-Pulev fight shows it all. Pulev: great jab. Klitschko: great jab + cross and hook = Dangerous from all angles with means that Pulev could not out smart him with just the jab itself, he had to watch out from all angles. But he's still a great jabber in it's pure art. If only the jab was allowed he might have won or at least turned it into 50-50-contest. Boxing is way more than just the jab.

fear not The Mongoose, I have been loving your replies to the anti Wlad dudes, like holy **** good job, you made point after point that was simply denied,,,

you hit the nail on the head when you said that they were focusing too much on how Wlad does PAW a lot with his Jab denying the fact that Wlad also snaps his jab about as good as any heavy weight ever. As well often his pawing jabs will work as a good change up for his snapping jab to land.

Even if one likes Holmes Jab or Ali's jab better than Wlads to say that Wlads jab isn't one of the best ever is being silly.
