who in your opinion are the top 5 Heavy Weights to never earn the championship (lineal)? There are plenty that may have won in other eras but maybe they ran into unstoppable forces of their times.
    Archie Moore
    Buddy Baer
    Tommy Morrison
    Ike ibeabuchi
And about three or four guys from the 70s lol if I had to pick one Shavers
I know I’m missing some solid people so who got screwed being in the era they were in?

Tommy Morrison doesn't make the top 30.

Interestingly enough, I made a poll about this in a popular boxing community in G+. I made it between Archie, Shavers and Cleveland Williams.

Archie Moore won by a landslide, if that means anything. But yeah Williams should definitely be on that list. In my humble opinion, Tua and Harry Wills are also good picks

No one thinks Vitali deserves a mention?

Larry Gaines is a name I have not seen mentioned yet.

Tommy Morrison? The guy who was knocked out by a guy with brain damage? Struggled with Joe Hipp and Ross Purity? The guy from Rocky V? That Morrrison? There is not another one from the roaring 20's or something?

Moore& Baer had two chances, maybe they weren't good enough at heavyweight?
Langford, who never got a chance tops my list.

Langford, Jeanette, Wills, Jackson, Ray. A lot of the old guard who didn't get shots will make up the list.

Vitali should be number one idk how I missed that one. Morrison had a few solid wins one against a top three HW ever. Cleveland Williams I was going to put but didn’t know who to drop lol there are a lot of people that may have won it all if born at a different time

Deontay Wilder. The likes of Wils , Langford and Joe Jennete would get ironed out badly by Wilder.

I would take an on for Morrison to do the same and to Wilder as well , so in a h2h sense they are up around the top.
