If Martin wins, he would get Joshua's spot. This list is not about who has beaten whom, because who the ef did Wilder beat? He fouht Jason Gavern is his 32 th fight. atsch It's about the Top 5 strongest guys out there. I think Joshua might beat Wladimir but he has to show against Martin first, if he's above Wlad.
Ok, I'm not questioning your selections, your opinion, your choices. I only asked because the fight is this week and I was wondering whatever way that fight goes, if one of them is spectacular does that change where you would place them. I think whoever wins has very solid win on their record.
I don't think it's questionable who wins. Martin has absolutely no chance. He's the same level as Wilder.
But you just said before that it's not about who beats who. James5000's works for me, with some sorting: 1) Tyson Fury 2) Wladimir Klitschko 3) Alexander Povetkin 4) Luis Ortiz 5) Deontay Wilder
Really, I hope you're right. I believe Joshua wins but I think Martin is being seriously underestimated, I've watched quite a few of his fights recently and he does a lot of things very well.
This is what I think too. The likes of Joseph Parker and Charles Martin seem to be underestimated by a lot of people when compared to Joshua because basically Joshua's build and general look and character are definitely "eye catching". He may also prove to be the better overall package, but we are in those exciting times where there is no guarantee until things happen. The next year is going to be a bloody good one for boxing!
I tend to go with this. Wilder may not warrant a place here but because he's due to face Povetkin I'm ok with it.
I agree :good I just see ways and some things that could make Martin very difficult to beat. Joshua is a heavy favourite and he may well justify it but to write off Martin is not just a mistake but it's disrespectful. I'd bet my last pound coin Joshua isn't overlooking Martin or believing for a second this is a walk in the park so I find it surprising so many people on here are. Yes and hopefully the heavyweight division opens up now and we get some really good competitive fights
