Top 5 Knockouts Ever?? I'm at work just now, will put mine up when I get time. Look forward to seeing anyone else's in the meantime...
Foreman - Cooney Not a top flight fight by any means but I always cringe when I see big George brutally finishing the job off with a vicious left uppercut that knocked Cooney out on his feet, and then clubbing him to the canvas with a big right hand http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2XlGWhY_5I 7:37 in.
The Jones KO over Pazienza was one of the most brutal I've seen. Up until the late 90's, it seemed like they let fights go on too long and this is an example of that. There is no way Pazienza should have taken those last punches in the condition he was in.

Curry/McCrory Norris/Jackson Douglas/Tyson in terms of significance Hearns/Duran Benn/Mclellan tragic
I agree with this point. Jones didn't want to keep hitting Paz but the ref forced him by refusing to stop it. I have a dim memory of Chris Eubank waving to the ref in the mid 90s to stop it as he had Henry Wharton in trouble on the ropes- surely that scenario should never happen. And of course, Gerald McClennan's condition could have been noticed by the ref and ringside doctors in his fight with Nigel Benn.
Tyson being declared Jihad on by the Godly Buster (I busted Tyson and made him my *****) Douglas. Greatest Knock out of the Universe EVER
That was not a spectacular KO by any means. It wasn't even a legit KO, it was simply one fighter going down in a clinch after being rabbit-punched, amplified by the brain problems he was having.
mercer - morrison maskaev - rahman 1 lewis - rahman 2 tyson - whoever that one guy was he didnt even punch yet the guy threw himself back into the ropes and was "knocked out" :rofl tarver - jones 2
