    These are in order of when I saw them fight:

    1. Ali
    2. Foreman
    3. Mike Tyson
    4. Lennox Lewis
    5. Wladimir Klitschko

    Honorable mention:

    6. Evander Holyfield
    7. Vitali Klitschko

    Yes, I'm 45 years old & I had the pleasure of watching all these greats fight.

    If 'Dominant' is the first criteria, my votes would go for

    1. Ali
    2. Tyson
    3. Holmes
    4. Wladimir
    5. Foreman

    While being exceptionally talented specimen, guys like Holyfield, Bowe etc. still never dominated anything at their era. Foreman might not belong to the list for the same reason, but he was so damn awesome that he just needs to be listed there.

    It is about the apperance of dominance, anyone can be beat but sometimes people look unbeatable. Noone thought Tyson could be beat then he lost to Douglas. Lewis looked amazaing and unbeatable only to be KO'ed by Rahman.

    Having said that my list is:

    Prime Tyson
    Holmes
    Lewis
    Vitali (since Lewis Retired)
    Wlad

    Lewis fought old men and was roughed up any time he fought a someone relatively young and hungry like Mercer, Vitali, MCCALL and Rahman.

    Not very firm at all. I was tempted to rate it as a tie, but while I rate Holyfield much higher as a heavyweight, Evander wasn't really a dominating figure. As great as he was, it always seemed like every bout was a tough, battle in the trenches kind of fight.

    While he was fighting much better competition than Vitali, Holyfield served up very few blowouts or 12 rounds to none kind of fights. Vitali, again against mostly lesser competition, has done just that pretty much constantly.

    In the end it was a bit of a coin flip for me.
