It's very hard to narrow it down to just 5. I'm sure I'll miss out on some.

Here's an attempt. Not just power, but also effectiveness and accuracy.

    In no order:

    Jabs:

    Larry Holmes
    Pernell Whitaker
    Michael Spinks
    Thomas Hearns
    Muhammad Ali

Tough to leave out some of the many other great jabs in history. Lennox Lewis, Marvin Hagler, Wlad Klitschko, Winky Wright, Ike Quartey, Oscar De La Hoya, Sonny Liston, George Foreman, Joe Louis, and countless others.

    Straight Rights:

    Thomas Hearns
    Joe Louis
    Lennox Lewis
    Alexis Arguello
    Roberto Duran

I thought Earnie Shavers' right hand was more dangerous as more of an overhand right, as well as the uppercut. Some of the other honorable mentions would be Muhammad Ali, Floyd Mayweather, Michael Spinks, Salvador Sanchez, Gerald McClellan, Erik Morales, Kostya Tszyu, Bernard Hopkins, Edwin Rosario, Julian Jackson. I thought Jackson's right hands were generally more deadly when thrown at different angles than a traditional straight right cross (Terry Norris fight withstanding). The Herol Graham KO was thrown in a downward motion, like an overhand. The Agostomine one was sort of a right hook.

    Left Hooks:

    Sugar Ray Robinson
    Bob Foster
    Joe Frazier
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Pipino Cuevas

I pick SRR first due to the versatility. He could lead with it (ask Gene Fullmer), throw it in the middle of a multi-punch combo, check hook, double left hook. The double left hook could finish off a multi punch combo. Chavez wasn't as powerful as the others, but I picked him due to effectiveness and that he could use it in a variety of ways. Mexican boxers are famous for the left hook to the body, and Chavez was perhaps the best of all at this. There's been many great left hooks in boxing: David Tua, Ruben Olivares, Fellix Trinidad, Sugar Ray Leonard (one of the underrated great punches ever IMO), Alexis Arguello, Oscar De La Hoya, Gerry Cooney, Tommy Morrison, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Razor Ruddock, Roy Jones, Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, Sonny Liston

    Uppercuts:

    Mike Tyson
    Riddick Bowe
    George Foreman
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Roberto Duran

Others: Lennox Lewis (although it always seemed to be in conjunction with holding the guy's neck with the left glove), Marvin Johnson, Earnie Shavers, Alexis Arguello (absolutely wicked uppercut to the body), Jack Johnson, Larry Holmes. Holmes's knockdown of Mike Weaver was a thing of beauty. Holmes was excellent at mixing in uppercuts, I remember seeing him throw a straight right hand and then throw a right uppercut right after that. Hopkins did the same thing

    Bodypunching:

    Henry Armstrong
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Roberto Duran
    Mike McCallum
    Joe Frazier

Others: Mike Tyson, Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, Marco Antonio Barrera, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Dwight Muhammad Qawi, Felix Trinidad, Shane Mosley, Pernell Whitaker, Roy Jones, Eusebio Pedroza (although many of his punches were to the balls instead of the body), Floyd Mayweather, Vassily Jirov, Bob Fitzsimmons, Jack Dempsey, Tony Zale, Alexis Arguello, Ruben Olivares
