Who'd be your top 5 currently. Mine would be.

    1 Lomachenko
    2 Golovkin
    3 Kovalev
    4 Crawford
    5 Alvarez

Hypothetical. Nobody knows. But just for the fun of it, the most complete is Rigondeux at his natural weight.

Rigoblin will never be the same after getting abused by the sports PFP#1 in front of millions. He talked a lot of **** and was made to quit :)

Just my opinion - but I find P4P a senseless concept. How can we say whether Lomachenko would have beat Andre Ward, for example, if they both weighed the same? Weight changes the dynamic of a fight, and the dynamics of a fighter. Lomachenko presumably wouldn't move like Keanu Reeves at 168, Ward's capabilities might be different at 130lbs. People are saying the Rigo win confirms Loma as P4P king but as Loma himself pointed out, it wasn't a fair match up. Pretty sure that if Loma jumped up to 140, Crawford could retire him on his stool too.

Loma is the best super featherweight and maybe the most technically skilled boxer out there. If that's the measure of P4P, then fair enough, I guess hes no. 1. But there are other attributes which can still be 'greatness', other ways to win fights. After 11 fights, does Loma's greatness surpass all the other fighters? I don't know. His angles and speed are better though, yeah.

I just think of the guys mentioned as great fighters. Once in a while there are truly great fighters, the guys who win titles in 3, 4, 5+ divisions (like a Mayweather/Roy Jones) or the guys who dominate a division in an unprecedented or awe-inspiring way (like an Ali or a Tyson). We all have our favourites, of course. But P4P lists tend to do an injustice to someone, somewhere along the line.

Crawford is number 1. If Loma thinks he is why doesn’t he do what Rigondeaux done and step up two weights to fight him?

Crawford is 3 weights above the superior Lomachenko who he is jealous of. The weight divisional differences are much smaller at the lower weights. Why doesn't Crawford face George Groves!

    1. Crawford
    2. Lomachenko
    3. Usyk
    4. GGG
    5. Canelo

BJS (to give this post a British flavour) has the potential to overtake GGG and Alvarez. Special mentions also to Mikey Garcia, Inoue and Paul Smith :icon_cafe:

    1. Loma
    2. GGG
    3. Crawford
    4. Canelo
    5. Spence

Openly admit Mikey has a superior resume than Spence but feel the Brook win in Sheffield is a better win than anything on Mikeys resume

Totally agree, p4p rarely ever puts a HW within the top 5 because you get the old lack of movement or too slow... But you can not possibly compare loma with AJ... P4p rankings always seem to motivate the lower weight classes

I think of p4p as how good you are compared to you peers. Like loma is head and shoulders above anyone his or around his weight so would figure highly. Along with testing yourself and dominating good fighters .

P4p hw should be king as mentioned loma isn't doing a round with AJ

Amazed at how many people have Canelo in their #5, the guy has lost all his biggest fights and has spent his career fighting guys 1-2 divisions below him.

People seriously think that he's a better fighter P4P than Kovalev or Mikey Garcia? No way.
