I don't think GSP can take Cung down and Cung has real power in his kicks. He breaks bones with his kicks!!! Cung has beaten every fighter he's faced in every fighting sport he's entered. In my mind he is a dark horse candidate for P4P status and all he needs is the proper exposure and the right fights to cement that fact in the mind of the MMA community.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. This forum wouldn't be any fun if we all agreed now would it?

I am sticking with Jet Li. Chans a good kid more an acrobat from his opera school training. Isnt Jet Li a multiple HK open winner?

but what make you think that GSP can't take down Cung? What Cung has made you think so?

jackie chan trained in the chinese opera first. he's a stuntman. i guarantee you jet li knows more about actual martial arts than jackie chan does.

    1) Fedor. Beating Sylvia in convincing fashion is more than enough to put him back on top, considering his resume.

    2) Silva. The man's been untouchable lately.

    3) Penn. At lightweight, he's all but unstoppable.

    4) GSP. He's starting to atone for his loss to Serra.

    5) Faber. Part of me wanted to go with Torres here, but Faber's win over Pulver was impressive as hell. He showed he can go five rounds and displayed much improved striking.

yeah, people are saying that Faber was not impressive vs Pulver because he didnt finish him, well, Pulver pretty much fought a fight to not being finish, he didnt put it all on the line to beat Faber. He was fighting to survive.

    1 gsp
    2 fedor
    3 silva
    4 penn
    5 gomi

georges st pierre does not get the credit he deserves. When he is 100 percent focused he is unbeatable. He came back from his fluky loss to serra,by dominating koscheck, hughes, serra and fitch.Class act.

Are those fighters you "like" the most or you actually think are the best? I don't understand how anyone can have Couture above BJ Penn or GSP :deal

Why is it forgotten that Couture got knocked out by Liddell, not once but twice???

In the words of Joe Pesci - am I here to amuse you? There are three pages of responses to this - feel free to look them over before you start grilling me on my choices.

And in answer to your question - yes Liddell KO'd Couture twice - but Couture also soundly thrashed Liddell once - and at least one of his KO loses to Liddell was due to an inadvertant eye poke that Liddell took advantage of.
