    In no particular order:

    Sugar Ray Robinson
    Sugar Ray Leonard
    Roberto Duran
    Roy Jones Jr
    Salvador Sanchez
    Gene Tunney

A little unorthodox, and I know there's 6 names, but that's what I'm rolling with today. I've been playing Fallout 3 for 12 hours straight so that's as good as it's getting.

I like your selection of Sanchez. Obv he can't be considered top 5 p4p because of how short his reign was, but in this discussion, why the hell not, he was a magnificent fighter. He doesn't make my top 5, but I'm quite glad someone mentioned him. :good

Thanks, he was one of the first people I thought of when I saw that resume didn't play a part. It's a shame because he really had a great resume as well for no longer than he had to fight; sure, he fought down to lesser opponents, but he was also the definition of a "big fight" fighter as well. I'm too young to have seen him live, but after getting his career set, the sharpness and composure he had in his biggest fights despite being so young was just phenomenal. Special, special fighter.

Edit: I think I'd replace Tunney with Bob Fitzsimmons if I had it to do over again, as well.
