My thoughts exactly. Its this kind of thinking that, once disproven ROYALLY, one can only turn to the PEDS argument. :rofl

Why in the heck would a 'thinking' guy not use two of his best attributes to win?...That's like asking when was the last time floyd used his head instead of his superior reflexes to win...

And your 5 reasons are all mitigated by lack of loaded gloves...

Pacquiao's power is very good at 147. Enough to deter Clottey from opening up his offense. But I believe Margarito's chin is still there, so even though Manny has good pop at this weight class Tony isn't going anywhere quick.

Who likes body shots? But, yes, it will be one of the deciders in this fight either way, but more in favor of Margarito.

Manny's footwork should enable him to dictate distance. It is not just the
speed, but the activity level of his footwork will test Margarito's relentlessness and willingness to pursue Pacquiao. The reason Cotto was simply overwhelmed was that he was looking for a place to settle down and waited for Margo to stop. It didn't happen. No matter how many shots he landed on Tony, the bullying never stopped. He literally didn't have time to catch his breath. I think Pacquiao will not look for a spot to stand for a second. He'll buzz his way for 12 rounds, launching his shots on the move constantly shifting Margarito's feet. This is the key for both fighters--who can impose which method will prove superior, whose movement will negate the other's. Is it Margarito's unrelenting advance or Pacquiao's perpetual motion attack.
    I have to see this

Yes, I agree this is key to the fight, please see my reply to 3.

Right now, I lean towards Margarito by knockout. It's not just the size advantage, but his aggression and toughness coupled with it might just be too much to overcome.

Margo is out of his element here. He's an inferior fighter period, who needed crutches most likely for multiple fights (why should proven cheater's get the benefit of doubt and due process?) to win. As soon as he fought without his aid, he got schooled badly by a past it Mosley. Margo will look slow and beaten in there.

And we have heard all of those same reasons for Cotto going in to his fight with Margarito, Okay lets say that all of this is true which most is, he doesnt have a gret defense, he doesnt have the best of foot work though he did cut the ring off very well with Cotto, he managed to find his range with Williams though he lost there.
But lets say that what your saying is 100% he found a way with Cotto to win and those were all the same excuses, and on top of that lets say he was in shape for Mosley, Most of you claimed that Manny ducked Mosley etc....
So how can we even use the Mosley as an excuse? when Manny ducked him so basicly you have two common opponents of which Margarito beat them both when they were fresher and not as damaged.

Now some argue Clottey took a dive, Okay well Margarito beat him fair and square and that has to count for something...

Okay next arguement Manny Beat Cotto more one sidedly. Sure thats true but was Cotto damaged going in? and did Margarito need a contracted weight agreement to beat Miguel?

Bottom line nobody knows whats going to happen we can all assume, one thing is for damn sure, the fight is on if Roach still decides to go through with it, we will see, I am 100% positive that Margarito will beat Manny Pacquiao

The last thing you want to do is give a fighter like Margarito an opportunity to redeem himself on a fight thats on this level when he still may have something left in him....
