The last person on that list had one win that in itself was far, far better than anything either Klitschko brother has done, not just Vitali.

so a one hit wonder win should be rated higher then not 1 but 2 whole careers?
Judging by that, you must rate the Sander, Brewster, Byrd higher then the K2's.

Bazza don't you think, just a little bit, that your logic is kinda ******ed?

based on your logicHasim rahman would be an all time great... he beat lewis. how about Douglas he beat tyson once... oh man you are a full blown ******.

speaking of tyson who did he beat?
    how about forman?
    how about fraizer?

did you know that in the 60/70s the pool of fighers mostly consisted of brits and americans... more than half of the world didn't participate (cold war and ****). now when the rest of the world participates the devision is **** because the americanos don't really cut it. :patsch

The Iron Courtain lifted during the beginning of the 90's. The Eastern Euros WERE in heavy contention. Go look it up. There were numerous top Eastern Euro contenters in the 90's, they just got raped by the B Teir fighters from America and Lewis.

look i am not saying that once the tallent pool increased that everything will change right away... but the competition would become more vast. even when the sport became availble its not like a lot of them had exprience fighting top fighters, most eastern earopean fighters likely had only their amature exprience in the 1990s... either way it took a decade before fighters like povetkin, klitschkos, valuev emerged for a sport that has been around for over a centuary.

..yeah, and where are these fighters from america now? are they all busy playing american football ?
Is it just a coincidence that from the current top 5 HW's, 4 are from eastern europe?

I think the eastern euros done pretty good in early 90's, hot future prospects turned pro early-mid 90's...guys like Maskaev, Golota, and ofcourse the K bros.

Considering the circumstances and the fact that they where banned from professional boxing for more then 5 decades at the time, Eastern Europe gave the boxing world 2 future ATG in less then 10 years since the fall of the iron curtain.

    That's pretty impressive mate :thumbsup.

Now tells us again who's the hottest american prospect in the division?

JAB5239 is a refugee troll from Boxing*scene, where he has been banned for his irrational hatred of Vitali Klitschko.

He was even a moderator there for awhile, in the history section, ironically.

    Please ignore him.

Of course consistency comes into it, I was simply responding to someone who claimed that most of the 19 heavyweight's listed had "**** for resume".

Schmeling wasn't exactly a one hit wonder, he beat Uzcudun, Stribling and many considered him unlucky to not have beaten Sharkey the second time they fought. He also fought hard with Max Baer.

His win over Louis is greater than anything either Klitschko brother has done. Am I correct?

I said it was better than anything either Klitschko brother had done, not everything. Can you ****ing read? Is Max Schmeling's victory over Joe Louis better than any win either Klitschko brother has ever had, yes or no?

Who did George Foreman beat? Well, er, Frazier twice, Norton, Lyle.
Frazier? He beat Ali, Quarry twice, Ellis twice, Bugner, Bonavena twice.

Thanks for enlightening me on that cold war issue, but you can't be serious to suggest that if you took Joe Frazier, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman and Ken Norton in to the modern, more globalized era, they wouldn't be so succesful?
