Let's see the lists... 1. Archie Moore - Crafty veteran who knew how to breakdown opponents and was the best at preventing fighters from fighting their fights. He wasn't the most skilled but he knew what he was doing 2. Willie Pep - He once won a round without throwing a punch (so they say). He could make anyone miss and look foolish. He saw punches before they were thrown. 3. Bernard Hopkins - He makes cheating look good (I think I read someone on ESB write this, props). He knows what he can get away with and was very clever. 4. Floyd Mayweather - Hate him or love him he's slick, savvy and always fights his fight. He's always a step ahead and is an ATG counter puncher. 5. Wladimir Klitschko - Hate him or love him he knows who he is and he knows how to get it done. Steward has done an amazing job with him. He's like that chess robot that beats all the humans.
Nice. I think Whitaker, Benny Leonard, Ezzard Charles, and Ray Leonard deserve shouts as well. They knew how to get the win.
Waldo? For real? Take off Wlad and FMJ and put in Whittaker, Armstrong, Ali, (just for the rope-a-dope alone, let alone the rest of his ring greatness) SRR, SRL, actually **** it, a whole shit**** ton of other fighter are more deserving.
all time? Damn that's a deep list. Hopkins has to be near the top, as does Floyd. SRL possibly. Robinson I'm sure. where does Pep and moore fit in? What about Lennox Lewis and his range game? Same thing with Wlad. Ali got into people's heads with his tactics. Vitali has probably some of the best rounds won to fights ratios in heavyweight history. Let me stick from current to back 5 years: 1. Mayweather 2. Hopkins 3. Ward 4. Wlad 5. Vitali
Muhammad Ali - personal gameplan to beat foreman - (you can think it was a fluke all you like - either way he played it right) SRR Mayweather
Wlad has no ring IQ he fights the same way the entire fight. When has Wlad ever shown a plan B in the ring?
