How do you not put RJJ and SRL at the top of the list?

    ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Floyd & SRR would also have to be up there, as well as a prime Tyson and Ali, of course. Maybe also Whitaker.

These are all guys who CONTROLLED the ring, and responded in multiple ways, depending upon what their opponent was doing.

Wlad? In the same group as those guys? Puh-leeze.

It is amazing how intelligent and smart Wlad boxes.

And Wlad works hard very hard to make i look so easy. I like watching it.

Wlad and Emanuel Steward works on the plan for the fight. But it change a little bit. Wlad learned very very much from Emanuel Steward and the he learnd, today Wlad is himself in the ring. He found his style and this is very important. Steward is a boxing teacher not a trainer and Wlad getting better from fight to fight because he is learning with brain. And his Ring IQ is amazing.

Whats the actual definition of Ring IQ?

These threads come up from time to time and no one seems to agree on what it actually is.

People tend to list naturally gifted fighters who appear to outbox and outskill their opponents, when they are really just out "athletic" them...But is that natural nous and ring awareness a true indicator of "Ring IQ"? or is it the skillset that is honed and built through experience?

You can't exactly study or prepare for an IQ test...that's the point of them.
