Just watched Hagler vs Sibson and damn Hagler´s right jab was good...

In order, I would say the Top 5 would be like that IMO:

    1- Whitaker
    2- Hagler
    3- Winky
    4- Saldivar
    5- Michael Moorer

TBH, I´m not confortable with the last two... Saldivar and Moorer were the the two guys I can remember at the moment :think Help me with this, post yours, in order if possible......
    :good
Edit- forgot Zapata, he would be a good shout too.....

I don't think Pernell had a greater jab than Hagler, but that's just me. It's debatable, anyway.

I think I'd have Kenny Lane above Saldivar and Moorer.

How about one of those old timers whom someone else its more familiar with? Tendler, Freddie Miller, etc.

Elorde, maybe, or Yoko but its tough...

Hagler is a solid no.1 for me. I place it over Whitaker's because it was a more effective offensive weapon in addition to being a part of Marv's defensive tools.

Nah, Nunn's jab was never good enough.

    Never consistent with it too.

He relied on his athleticism, speed and movement too much.

Even in his early pre-title pure boxer-days he beat his opponents by not being lazy on the inside, moving and throwing fast combinations rather than controlling them with his jab.

    :-(

    range finder, flicking jab

no snap to it, no bad intentions behind it

looks like a solid top 5 to me, but I too would switch Hagler and Whit.

For all of his flaws Michael Moorer had one hell of a jab.
