1.Nacho Beristain - Majority of his fighters are very well rounded 2.Roger Mayweather - Great at helping fighters gain technical brilliance 3.Emanuel Steward - focuses on fundamentals & raises "boxers" 4.Nazim Richardson - Great teacher of the "old skool" 5.Freddie Roach - Teaches fighters great offense & not much else LIST DOESNT HAVE TO INCLUDE THESE 5...JUST ACTIVE TRAINERS
1.) Nacho (anyone who can turn Daniel Zaragoza into hall of famer deserves this distinction) 2.) Emmanuel Steward 3.) Roger Mayweather 4.) Floyd Mayweather sr. 5.) Jeff Mayweather 5.) Ronnie Shields 100333.) Freddie the Joke Coach Roach.
I love the list bro' & lol i dnt really like Freddie but his fighters offensive skills deserve credit
Roach is a great trainer but only in one field, guys like Nacho & Roger teach their fighters just about everything for god sake Pacquiao didnt learn how to throw a hook until he was like 30 atsch & look at Amir Khan, dude doesnt even know how to block punchers lol
He's done a great job with Britains amateur fighters too. Gavin, Saunders, DeGale, Price and many, many more are all making their names and a big reason for that is McCracken. Excellent trainer.
jim mcdonnell had no answers for degale when he fought groves. adam booth proved he is a tactical genius in this fight and will no doubt have a fantastic game plan for haye on july 2nd, saying that so will emmanuel steward...I can see july 2nd being a tactical fight. my top 5 are emmanuel steward rob mccracken freddy roach adam booth bob shannon
As far as teaching and all around skill I would have to go with the Mayweather's and for pure offensive fighting Roach is top dog. Steward is the best motivator for sure. Nacho a great trainer in his own right being able to take Mexican brawlers and have them semi polish is great.
i've always thought jeff mayweather gets by on his name alone. he didn't do much for ibragimov or forbes.
