1. Wilder 2 2. Klit 3. Wilder 3 4. Chisora 2 5. Wallin I reckon the Wallin win will look pretty good in hindsight.
its thin as **** no price no joshua no whyte no parker no nordic nightmare no uysk no ruiz no ortiz **** poor imo
1. Wilder 2. Wlad 3. Chisora 4. Wallin 5. Hammer No doubt, his resume is thin. But he fought two world champions in their backyards which is probably worth a bit more than fighting subpar opposition in your own backyard like Joshua did for years (for example).
This is about Top 5 WINS not about Top 5 OPPONENTS. There is a huge difference between those two things. Of course Joshua has a way better resume but if you talk about elite Ws and legacy: Fury > Joshua.
True but Fury only has Vlad and Wilder. I would argue that Wilder although a belt holder was untested against any common opponent. You may counter with Ortiz but he also is lacking in that department. So we don't really know how good Wilder is. With or without Wilder Fury's resume is thin to say the least and I'm a fan of of Fury.
Are we just considering the quality and overall danger of the opponent? Wlad away, Wilder 2 away, Wilder 3 away, Wallin, Cunningham away Or considering the dominance of the performance as well? Wilder 2 away, Wlad away, Wilder 3 away, Chisora 2, Hammer home List 1 also contains more stylistic/anthropometric diversity: if you can dominate Chisora, you can do the same to any other stubby plodder.
We know how good Wilder is. Not very good. Nevertheless he's one of the hardest hitting HWs ever. So beating this guy two times (or three times ...) is a massive thing (on the road as well). Same for the Wlad fight. He beat a younger and more active version of Wlad on the road while Joshua got a home fight against Wlad coming off a 17 month layoff. We don't need to talk about resumes. Joshua > Fury all day long. But if we talk about Top Ws/legacy it's Fury > Joshua for sure.
I answered in another thread about Wilder explaining that we just don't know his power against elite oppostion. A lot of fighters who are heavy handed look great coming up because they just knock everyone out however this slows down as sone as they fight people at the top of the division as knocking out elite fighters is more difficult. Wilder has only fought Fury who was not considered to have a great chin before the Wilder trilogy. Wilder failed to get him out of there. So my assertion is that Wilder isn't the biggest hitting Heavy by any stretch because he has only fought Fury who was considered average. The hardest hitting was just marketing by the likes of ESPN to mask the fact that Wilder had little skill. Wilder is dangerous but we don't know to what extent as if he was starched by Joshua or Whyte then that perception would shift. The reality is Wilder avoided anyone with a pulse and only took Fury because he thought it would be an easy nights work. I'm not trying to persuade you differently I'm just explaining what my position is.
1. Klitschko 2. Wilder II 3. Wilder III 4. Chisora II 5. Wallin Chisora I and Cunningham are honourable mentions.
